I grew up in New York City eating Black Pudding, we called it Blood Pudding. Getting the blood pudding was almost impossible in Hampton Roads. There was a British shop on Witchduck Road but closed years ago. I finally found Best of British in Hampton. Owners Mike and Jackie are the nicest people as well as the other young lady who works there! I feel their prices are very reasonable, online the cost was more and you have to pay shipping, which for foods requiring freezer packs is very expensive! I buy the Winston Blood Pudding and it is always excellent, even my grandson is liking it. Their assortment of candies and cookies bring back my childhood memories of shopping at a British import store in Queens New York. Thanks Mike and Jackie!

I see bad reviews for the price, but I think they forgot what imported means lol. The staff is very friendly and they have a great selection of different things. The sausage goes fast tho. It’s not an everyday shopping store as like I said, it’s imported so it’s pricey. I usually go there when I’m craving a nice British breakfast.

I liked the experience of visiting this place and they had quite a variety of items to buy. I would think of it as a British store that mostly sells candy. I would have to say that I think the candy they do have for sale is marked up, but I suppose it has to be for it to be imported.

Nice little shop with British goods. They carry mostly boxed goods like tea, biscuits and chocolates. There were a few sausages and sodas too. Great place to buy British odds and ends. I will definitely return.

Been going here for years just to try different candies on occasion when I'm in the area. It's a nifty little shop and a welcome splash of culture.
