The move was almost seamless from beginning to end. Matt Cordes, sales, Abbey Strickland, move coordinator, packers/loaders, drivers and unloaders/unpackers were all professional and approachabke. All inquiries were treated with respect and responded to in a timely manner. A move across country is not a small task but Allied Van Lines and their team helped destress this part of the journey. My 7-foot dining room table was lost. 1/3 of my boxes were crushed and multiple items damaged. My 55” TV and my 27” smart monitor were both cracked and will not turn on. Lot stickers were placed directly on leather furniture. When peeling off the stickers, the leather came off, too. White bookcases were missing paint and the backing of bookcase was smashed/cracked. Very disappointed in the level of care that my belongings received. Moved from Virginia to Kansas.

After much review of moving options in the area my partner and I decided to use Allied movers. Our experience with the staff packing out our house hold goods was quick and professional, I wish I could leave these gentleman a 5 star review. The staff working in the office however, did not properly send our signed disclosures which created issues having our goods pulled from storage on a specified date that was in our contract causing our delivery date to be later than expected and attempted to charge more since the goods were pulled after. After talking with regional management and sending signed copies of contracts we were able to get things sorted, the price was lowered, and our goods made it on the last day of our initially quoted delivery spread, but this was not a smooth or easy process. The movers that delivered our goods were again professional, courteous and friendly while unpacking and worthy of a better review than the main office.

Overall they did a good job, but there are a lot of levels to the service, with multiple contracted entities, which led to some minor communication issues/inconveniences.

The representatives were very punctual and professional. We also had special needs dealing with an elderly father who resides out of town and they worked to accommodate us.
