Jim was easy to reach, flexible on his schedule and was able to accommodate us early. Up front with terms and pricing he arrived on time and was very knowledgeable. Tri-River Electric in my opinion is the only company I will personally use, and the only electrical company I would recommend. Jay is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything to the customer. Jay came and installed all new lighting in my workshop, a 10,000 sq.ft. building so it was a big job. Jay knocked it out of the park, everything went smooth and he worked around my schedule and the needs of my shop as to not hold me or my business up.
Every task to be done was completed in a tidy, professional manner. Any questions I had along the way Jay answered and with in depth details on the how/why things work the way they do, and the safety behind it.
I highly recommend Jay Jackson and Tri-River Electric for any electrical needs. He will be the only call I make on any future electrical requirements.

Asked Jay to come by to repair a faulty electrical circuit when my coffeemaker wasn't getting any currrent from an outlet and I then noticed that several basement rooms were without power. I thought it was a faulty circuit breaker, so he asked me by email to take a picture of it so he could come over equipped with the proper parts. He replaced the AFCI breaker and gave me a thorough explanation of what he had done. He also discussed how electric systems can deteriorate over time and gave me some information on what we could do to upgrade our system to avoid or prevent further problems. His rates are reasonable.

Jay recently replaced a control panel for us. When we discovered a spark in the original panel, he rushed over to review to ensure our safety even though he was heading out of town with his family. He provided steps to take to ensure safety until he was able to replace. He was very prompt, reasonable in price and just provided a very honest/transparent service. We can’t thank him enough and highly recommend Jay to others.

I am the sort of person who does not hire a professional. I see any problem as a new learning opportunity, and just figure I'll buy the tools and do it myself.I was reluctant, but needed an electrician to change out my service panel and have it pass inspection. After looking around and having other contractors flake, I decided to call Jay at Tri-River Electric to do the job.Jay was the first professional I had ever hired. The adaptability, timeliness, and commitment to getting the job done was more than I had anticipated.Jay not only did the job I needed on the panel, but also upgraded our meter box, and installed two new outlets in the basement. We promptly passed the inspection and now have confidence in a crucial part of our home. I bought an old house and needed several electrical issues addressed. I called jay and he came right over and we discussed all the issues together. He explained it all so well what I should do first and what could wait. Never any pressure to do more. If you want it done right the first time he is the one to call. Tri River Electric came out and added power to a building for an office and put up an outside security light. He is very professional at what he does. He is very informative of there is a safety issue.I would hire him again.

Jay performed a prompt professional installation of my Tesla charger. This included running wire from the main breaker box, including conduit, a cut out, and a weatherproof enclosure for the charger.The work was performed in a short time with minimal inconvenience to me.I have worked in the electronics related field for over 40 years and recognize good work when I see it.
