Johnson Funeral Services is who I used when my dad passed in 2016 and they were very kind and professional. There was no pressure to do more than what I wanted. I used them again when my mom passed this year. If I wind up with any more dead bodies, they will be the first place I call.

I want to thank Johnson Funeral Services for their help during a most upsetting season for our whole family. We had two close, dear relatives die within a couple of days of each other. They transported one body from Richmond to Grottoes within hours of her death. I was able to see her immediately. The other loved one was seamlessly transported here from a distant state after her funeral there. Then Johnson’s helped us coordinate the burials on two different days in our family plot. Every detail was covered. Johnson’s made a stressful process much easier for us. They explained everything fully at each step, offering multiple options. They offered sound advice when we asked for it. They were considerate of our grief, going beyond my expectations for customary good service. Would I recommend them? Certainly.CABH

Johnson's Funeral Services were amazing. They truly accommodated my every need. The staff was very friendly and helpful during my difficult time. They also checked up on me to see how I was doing which really meant alot.

At a time when you need professional guidance in taking care of arrangements of your loved one, Johnson Funeral Home in Grottoes could not have been better. Daniel, Elizabeth & the rest of the staff were very compassionate from the very beginning to the final resting place for our Mother. What was even more impressive was the follow up weeks afterwards to see how the family was doing & if they could help in the grieving process. This act of compassion deserves more than five stars.

Very considerate, checked on the whole family afterwards to see how every one was doing. We have never known of any other funeral home to be so compassionate about their families. Was in contact several times over the planning process to make sure everything was as we wanted.

Very nice, comfortable and modern facility for a time when you don't want to think about it. Very helpful staff made the family feel more at ease. Good sound system and other technical assists worked well. A nice facility with good staff at a sad time when needed.

Johnson's funeral home handled both my Mom and Dad's funeral arrangements,they answered our questions,they helped with the services,they made it quite easy for the family.they also contacted me after the funeral to see how the family was doing and if there was anything else they could do for us.i would highly recommend them in your time of need
