Safeway is a grocery store located at 9881 Georgetown Pike in Great Falls, VA. It is a decent place to get groceries and the only grocery store within 15-20 minutes for some. The store is always busy. It features a bakery with birthday cakes, custom cakes, and cupcakes, a deli with party trays and an Order Ahead service, and a butcher block with meat, seafood, and sushi trays. The produce department is full of fresh items. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and customer service is super helpful. The store is very clean. It offers Grocery Delivery and DriveUp & Go™, and has a pharmacy for immunizations and prescriptions. For checkout, there are self-service kiosks that are very convenient and impressive, though having mostly self-checkouts can be a nuisance with full carts. Sometimes shelves can be pretty bare, and some things are definitely overpriced, though a bonus card can provide great deals. The store inventories are described as same old and boring selections year after year, and nothing special even in an affluent area.

Good store. Smaller size makes some product an ability challenging but all in all they have excellent variety and good produce. Staff is great. Great to have a dependable store so close to home!
