We absolutely loved getting to sell our home with the Property Collective. We saw their work when we attended an open house and knew when we sold our home we would try to work with them.
They easily merge being extremely professional with being empathetic, fun humans to work with. Every single member of their team is amazing.
Their marketing is top notch and they are able to capture your home in the way you see it (or maybe even better!)
Their pricing strategy is so smart and led us to get way more than we could have ever imagined for our home.

If you want to work with the best real estate team in the area, Daan and The Property Collective team (special recognition to the amazing Alicia and Angela!) are your people! This is our second experience working with Daan and his team and we continue to be impressed with the integrity and work ethic displayed by everyone. No detail is too small and no concern or request is unimportant. This team meets you and and your needs through every step of the process. Daan is one of the most genuine and thoughtful real estate agents you will meet and spends the time to ask very generative questions that will help guide and focus your real estate journey. They do what seems impossible---they take the stress out of real estate transactions. Just be careful, you might find yourself buying and selling multiple properties just so you can hang out with them!Update 3 years later:I continue to lean on Daan at The Property Collective as real estate questions arise in life. Connecting with Daan to explore real estate options is always fruitful, and while I know how full his schedule is he remains generous with his time, experience, and knowledge. Pros* Prompt responses* Very professional* Clear communication* FriendlyCons* Not knowledgeable about different neighborhoods I was interested in (Herndon/Ashburn/Sterling VA).* Never said anything bad about a property, the most offending example was when a damaged roof was found in an inspection, my agent still offered gentle encouragement to buy. I backed out after the seller refused to repair the roof OR lower the price. The home later sold for lower than I offered after the seller repaired the roof.* I often felt a gentle pressure to buy. For example, we'd tour a home, I'd point out some negative aspects, and then they'd point out the good and talk about how competitive the market was. A better motivation to buy would have been how much to get it fixed, or how we could leverage this into a better deal, or get the seller to fix it. These were ideas I had to suggest and ask for.* Stemming from the above, never felt like research was done on my behalf.* Repeatedly emailed homes with multiple qualities I had previously stated I was uninterested in, even after I talked to them about it.* Learned more touring homes with a Redfin agent than I did with my realtor here.Conclusion:Would recommend against moving forward with them to any buyer in the market. I'm having a much more positive experience with other realtors. Two stars because they were prompt and professional.

Showed up for an open house in DC hosted by property collective and the agent was not wearing a mask. A line out front, dozens of people going in and out, and he didn't wear a mask the entire time. Very irresponsible. Masks are mandated.

Top notch selling and buyer's agent - you will not find anyone that will work harder for you no matter if you're buying or selling a home. She treats each client like family, and will work to find you the perfect home and/or deal. Once you work with Nikki, you've got an agent for life.

Daan helped us while we were buying our home in Great Falls. It was a great experience. He is not a pushy agent to force you to buy anything quickly. He took his time to explain us when we had questions about home buying experience. Thank you for a great experience Daan.He also recommended us a title company for closing paperwork and mortgage company. They were both very helpful and easy to deal with. Great overall experience.

This was by far the easiest house selling experience. I'm incredibly grateful for Daan & team's efforts and can't recommend them enough. As background, my husband and I were looking to sell our house during the pandemic as we were moving cross-country. As soon as the movers came to pack us out, we handed over the keys to Daan and it was the most stress-free experience one could ask for:- Daan had our condo painted and backsplash redone, and then staged (thanks Angela & Maura) within the week of moving out- House on the market and contract pending within THREE DAYS of listing with FULL asking price- Closed within 15 days of contractDaan ensured we had full visibility every step of the way, and we received notifications throughout the entire process while remote. With the stress of moving cross-country, we had to do NOTHING. Daan & Alicia even arranged for a notary to come to our new house to sign the papers.We can't recommend them enough and are grateful for their help.

Daan contacted us after we gave up on selling our house and took it off the market. His team sold our house under 30 days and their approach was a win-win for both parties.Alicia is one-of-a-kind too. She was very attentive and detailed to the point that we quickly relied on her for so many things especially as the turn-around time was very quick.As first time sellers, we are extremely pleased with the performance of this team and would highly recommend them.

Daan and his team are A++. As we interviewed agents to list our house with Daan's ability to explain his vision and strategy to sell our house quickly convinced us he was the right person for the job. From the minute we listed our house he and his team expertly walked us through every facet of what needed to be done prior to the listing going live. Their recommendations and marketing strategy worked perfectly! Within minutes of the listing going live on MLS we had realtors scheduling showings. Over 20 showings and multiple over asking price offers within 48 hours. Daan expertly walked us through the offers and finalized an agreement. He and and the rest of his team continually kept us informed and worked with us from contract to closing. We will definitely recommend him to all our family and friends!!
