“My family has been doing business with Patrick’s hardware for over 100 years and I have known three generations of the family. First, they are outstanding, and above all ethical individuals who, if they are asked, give you the best guidance in your hardware needs. Second, based upon generations of knowledge of both hardware and building, they might make a suggestion that you hadn’t thought of which will save you a great deal of time and money. Last of all, if they don’t happen to have what you need then they will direct you to a place that has this product or, if you would prefer, order it for you with arrival usually within a day. Last of all I have never walked into Patrick’s hardware, and not found a friendly smile of a person who really wants to help you, not just sell you something. I think that Patrick’s hardware is the finest hardware store I’ve ever been into in my entire life. Win Winfree.”
“This lansing is like no other. I own a gutter company and the lansing norfolk is terrible, I now drive an hour here to get material. The guys on gutter side are fast and efficient. Give the gutter side guys a raise bcus you guys are lucky to have them.”

“I went with my daughter and other friends to Home Depot for their free, in-store kids workshop and we both loved it! When you check in, your child not only gets their DIY project to work on, but if it's your first time, your child gets their own apron with the pin of the month to go with it. Not going to lie, it was a bit intimidating going in because there's no workers walking around to help if you need assistance during the workshop and especially for someone like me that doesn't really do a lot of building projects, but the instructions were really thorough and had pictures that got us to our end goal smoothly. It does get super crowded especially if you don't come in early but surprisingly there were always enough seats and resources to share amongst everyone. I was impressed that not only did we get to build, but you can also decorate your project with paint and stickers. I highly recommend other families to go, especially since it's free. And I will definitely come back to these workshops with my daughter in the future.”

“had the oppurtunity today, looking for a $300 item..talked to a manager at Lowes and he went the extra mile to try and make a sale...I had asked if they price matched...he replied yes in most cases....the item in question would have been over $100 difference...rather than BS me he came right out and said that much would not be possible....appreciate the honesty....have switched from Home depot customer for 12 years to Lowes...they at least answer their phones. This year alone...table saw, washer/dryer combo, band saw...tried to get from Home depot and no one answers phone to help...purchased all from Lowes.”

“Big Thumbs Up for John and Toby at your Willmar, MN location. I came to their location to solve my new Kitchen faucet connection problem. 1950's Soft copper 3/8 and 1/2 solid. I'm seasoned in old world plumbing and spent lots of wasted time back and forth to Menards and Home Depot. I should thought of J and T first off. 15 minute of all 3 bantering and I had the fix. Back home the the fix took under 10 minutes. Thanks John and Toby, You Rule!”

I’m a new home owner doing a lot of DIY stuff so I appreciate that. I haven’t run into an issue with not being able to find something I needed. I think it’s great, I like this location better than the one in Hampton.”
“While I usually shop at a different Home Depot closer to my house, I was in the area and wanted to chat about getting some carpet done. Let me tell you, Fatima in flooring is a ROCKSTAR. I've been in the process of selling my home and every service person/contractor/etc has been short and rude because they deal with people all the time. Fatima made me feel like she cared as much about my project as I do. She went the extra mile, made phone calls when I had questions, and even found me a discount I didn't know I was eligible for. Thank you Fatima, and Home Depot, give that lady an award (or better yet, a raise haha)”

“UPDATE: I went back in to do my return and my experience was much better. Sarah and Marcus were incredibly helpful and processed the return with ease. Whoever helped us before could learn from these two. They have restored my faith in Ace :)
Ordered a hammer drill for order pick up. We opened the product packaged in a hard plastic coating very carefully. After reading the instruction manual we realized our air compressor would not work with the product. We brought the unused hammer drill back to the store and were told that since the product was opened it could not be returned and we should sell it on Facebook to get our money back. Nowhere in the return policy does it say the product needs to be unopened. The manager insisted we “destroyed” the packaging when we had gently sliced open the hard plastic cover as pictured. The product was unused and was repackaged including the shopping bag I picked it up in. Unfortunately the inability to process a $40 refund has soured my taste for this brand and I will not be returning to Ace Hardware.”
