Mr. Chris Stevey would make a great manager at any of Habitat's locations including the one in Newport News, Virginia. He really deserves a bonus award every year. You can often find great deals here, although the prices are a bit higher than they are at Dollar Tree. It's like Five and Below, but better!Located at 2101 Coliseum Dr. in Hampton, VA, this store is open from 9am to 9pm, seven days a week. If you're looking for a more immersive shopping experience, then look no further. pOpshelf offers a range of in-store discounts and touch-and-feel items, so you can get a better sense of what you're buying before you commit to it. “I have not been in a Dollar General in over 25 years, and when I visited this Dollar General I was astonished at how much it has improved and the much greater variety of products it now sells. The place is jammed and packed with lots of different products, so much that it's like a mini-Walmart of sorts. For its size, they have a great variety of foods and beverages, cleaning products, housewares, tools, hygiene and medical supplies, personal care items, batteries, electronic devices; kids playthings, clothing, diapers, formulas, and toys; kitchenware, and other stuff. The place was organized, clean, and the staff were courteous, friendly, and professional. They also have a FedEx pickup, where you can drop off packages here to be picked up by FedEx later, and they will give you a receipt for dropping such off. The parking lot is fairly large and has plenty of space. All in all, this place is great and surprisingly has a lot of stuff at good prices. I would strongly recommend visiting this place just to browse through the place and see the huge variety of stuff they sell and their low prices on such. Doing so will put Dollar General on your map as a place you can go for a lot of stuff at good prices, and will probably pleasantly surprise you and change your view of the store chain and franchise.”
“Dollar tree is on my list of amazing places to go for craft supplies for my DIY obsession. Especially since they have added so many incredible new craft supplies to thier inventory! This Dollar Tree is a little small with a slightly lower amount of inventory than the other ones in the area, but I understand that the individual stores don't have much say in the amount/type of inventory that they have shipped to them. My only hope is that they will continue to expand my local shop so I can keep my business in town more often!”
“Every time I've been in this store a couple of things have always stayed consistent; first, they have always looked like they are just moving in, lol, what I mean is there is always big wheeled stocking carts out, at least two or three, with anywhere from 2-4 or more employees stocking shelves with the goods on them. The store also looks on the "newish" side (although I know it's been there for years) because it is always so clean inspite of being relatively busy, or at least patrons coming in steadily throughout the day. Finally, let me say, I never been in any store in recent years that had a more helpful and friendly staff. For that courteousy, that is, the lost art of customer service, more than all of the above mentioned, I thank you!”
“We got our artificial Christmas tree here. They sold us a floor model, but too bad they didn't give a discount on it. The staff was friendly enough, but could tell they were stressed by the time of year because of their demeanor and the state of the store. But still a good place to go for good deals on what you need.”
“Love shopping at the Dollar store. I was a little upset when I was in a very long line. Another register opened and he took 2 customers, I more to his register, when I did he told me that he was closed and I had to go back to the other register. Than he turns back and says to two customers behind me he would take them. I found it extremely rude. My cashier was very nice.”

“Very busy on Saturday, but you can get some great things at a crazy cheap price. I was able to pickup a pack of 20 15Amp outlets with covers for only $7. The exact same pack runs about $39 at hardware stores.”

“Recently opened, store is clean, well-organized, had almost everything that the Brand used to offer, Associates are Customer Service WELL ORIENTED, store was shining, merchandise so well organized on the shelves, NO MESS, NOTHING ON THE FLOOR, first time I see a Dollar Store like this one!!! “Shockingly this dollar tea has the better selection in the area. I used to shop at the one on Oriana Blvd, but it shut down for some reason. So, I'll drive to this one vs the one on Jefferson Ave because it has more here. However, beware of the clutter lol. They offer more, but the store is oddly arranged and doesn't offer much moving space. Because of this, the lines are often backed up into the shopping aisles and since the aisles are narrow, you're unable to shop while the lines are long.., if that makes sense. I will say that the lines can go for 0-15 people in a matter of minutes. But, this is the only dollar tree that I've ever seen that'll quickly open up registers to get the lines down ASAP! I definitely appreciate that.”
“I went there because my charger quit working I got two USB cords one for 4.99 and one for 5.99. Of course they're not original manufacturer chords but I've never had a problem with them the one that just died came from Amazon. And they had these really cute boxing gloves there for 10.99”

“Great stock and great prices! This location is always well stocked! I've also consistently have had great interactions with employees and staff! I was in awe of customer service. My only fault is how insanely packed this location always is and how long it takes to get out o the parking lot for this exact reason. I don't think it's popularity and heavy traffic is any fault to the great experience inside of the store, so I still give it 5 stars!”
