The reviews on this place showcase exactly why Google should allow review rank resets when a property changes owners. This is Oasis Market now. It is leagues above any other stop around gordonsville. This place is the only gas station I will stop at from madison to charlottesville. They treat me like family. The owner works there frequently and is a very kind man, the woman who manages the property is just as kind, and everyone else mimics them. This is a great business that is constantly expanding and introducing new items to stay ahead of the other gas stations around it. The only reason I ever stop at 7-11 instead of Oasis is when Oasis is closed. And no, there is no longer an alarm system on the bathroom door. It's been gone since it was purchased and changed into Oasis

Stopped in here to use the restroom and grab drinks on the way to Charlottesville. I am 9 months pregnant and my son is 4 years old both urgently had to use the restroom. The cashier refused to allow me in the restroom till i said i would make a purchase. I decided to take my money elsewhere. The 100s of times i have passed there gotten snacks and not used the restroom. This women is nothing but rude. Going forward I will not stop here. There are too many other options that dont treat me so poorly.

Stopped for donuts and coffee on our way through town. Lady behind counter was unnecessarily rude.

RUDE!!!! I stopped by this Valero store bc the other two stores across the street were packed, this store was empty, which should have been my first clue. I went inside to buy a few newspapers, my total was over $6. When I handed the owner Brenda my bank card to pay, she literally lost it! In a raised voice, she said “Oh no! I can’t take your card unless you want to buy something else! I make 5 cents off this paper & 5 cents off this paper and it costs 10 cents to run your card!!!” How am I supposed to know that? Literally acted nuts! Anyway just STAY AWAY from this store! Like some of the other posts have said, they’re just not nice people...

The ladies that work there were not very kind to me and my family when we were trying to figure out how to use the restroom. We bought merchandise from them and simply needed to use the restroom after driving all the way from South Carolina. The system on the door is not self-explanatory and we couldn’t figure out how to use it and instead of being kind after we said thank you for letting us in she simply ignored us. On the way out we overheard one of the ladies saying “we were a waste of breathe”... because we couldn’t unlock the door that THEY had put a code on? Rude customer service, would not recommend stopping there.

After pumping my gas ($25 to fill the tank), I went inside to use the restroom. The older lady with short dark hair working the counter was inexplicably angry.

Easy access right on the Rt. 33/231/15 traffic circle. Nice folks, locally owned, reasonable gas prices, a great selection of bottled and fountain drinks, coffee and snacks on par with and newer and cleaner than any 7-11 I've been in in a long time, so I always try to schedule a stop at this Valero station when I'm heading through the area between Orange and Charlottesville. Last I heard, many convenience stores don't even have public REST ROOMS because it's just not part of their business plan, but if you buy something first and then ask them nice, they might be able to accommodate. Keep in mind this is a little mom-and-pop store might not have the corporate resources of a Sheetz, and this is not a full service deli so best to keep your expectations reasonable in that respect.

We stopped here after a long car ride for my 2 year old to use the restroom, she's newly potty trained and had been going with no accidents so on this specific occasion we did not put a pull up on her. However after asking the cashier if my toddler could use the restroom the woman said as long as I make a purchase my toddler can go. We were in a rush because she kept crying that she had to go baaaad. Everyone knows how hard it is for a toddler to "hold it" upon telling the woman that all the cash I had was out in the car the cashier gave me the option to either go get it or go across the street to go to another gas station. At this point I'm not sure how much longer my toddler will be "accident free". I went to the car grabbed a few dollars and bought the cheapest thing I could find. Then and only then did the woman allow my 2 year old access to the bathroom. There is an alarm system on the bathroom door which she informed me I would have to be "buzzed" in and also "buzzed out" like in a jail cell. While the bathroom was very clean there were papers all over the bathroom saying things about how our purchase was "appreciated" and that the bathroom supplies were funded by our purchase. I understand there are some people out there who trash bathrooms and others who use restrooms to steal, I worked in a convenience store and had to clean some very dirty messes to say the least but, I believe acceptions should be made concerning young children and pregnant women. I will not be returning to this establishment. The cashier had no empathy to my 2 year old having to hold it even longer. She had already been holding her bladder for a while while we searched for a place to go. All this is is about money and a way for them to make more of it and not have to clean the bathroom as often because of fewer traffic. I am very disappointed that children are even targeted by this "rule". It's a shame.

These people are ridiculous with their bathroom policy. Must make a purchase and get them to unlock an alarm system to the bathroom door to let you in. Signs posted all over the bathroom about how expensive all the bathroom supplies are. Very unwelcoming, will never go here again.

The fact that you must make a purchase and get them to unlock an alarm system on the bathroom to use it is beyond rediculous.

Unbelievable, would not allow my teenager to use the restroom without purchasing something! I have been there many times and made purchases but they have lost my business.
