We have never had a large dog who needed to be groomed. WE asked everyone we saw who was the best large dog groomer. Dakota's name kept popping up. Everyone just raved about her. We made an appt. For our large border collie. We left everything up to her. Our dog loved her!!!! Dakota was fast, friendly and very knowledgable. I hope we will be her customers for many years.
On another note, the staff was super friendly and helped me with medications, the app, and vetco. I am now "all in". Petco in Gloucester will be my one stop shop!!!!

The staff was rude.. I wanted to purchase a few gold fish for my 40gal tank they told me I can only buy one fish he proceeds to be rude when I asked why. Said it was store policy.. I would like to find out how do I return the nearly 1700$ in fish tank and equipment I will never deal with this location or store

Lauren was AMAZING! I went in looking for a new cat litter box and she eager to help and find the perfect box for me! She didn’t have a cat but was familiar with one of the brands because her sister used it. She explained it well, price matched it, and was extremely kind! I can’t say enough about her! Petco certainly could use more employees like her! Kudos Lauren, keep up the good work!

While the personnel were courteous and helpful when I dropped off and picked up my dog, the dog’s fur was not dry nor was her fur thoroughly brushed out, especially around the ears.
The quality was not up to the cost. I will not be using Petco grooming services again.

They have some great products; not a large variety of pets though, and they only have select size acquariums which are not uniform and only carry LED lights for them.

I'm giving this store a one-star rating to hopefully catch the attention of the regional manager. I'm complaining about our visit today while trying to visit with the only cat that was up for adoption we could tell it was stressed and very nervous because of the dog barking coming from The grooming department. Not just one dog multiple dogs being groomed and it was chaotic. It was very distressing to the cat. You can't tell me that there's no solution for this. You can relocate the cats up closer to the register then people can see them and your employees can tend to them give them attention. Otherwise you have cats sitting in a cubicle for long periods of time without attention stressed out from all the dog sounds. The situation they're in now does not seem beneficial they're probably better back at a shelter in a cat area. Please Petco do better I will not continue to shop there if this does not get addressed. If you're working for charities to help these cats then that includes their emotional well-being while they're waiting for adoption that's a huge part of when people come to visit them for adoption the cats need to be friendly or they won't get adopted.
