The people here could not be nicer!! I am disabled and have gained weight. I cannot afford clothes. I've visited this church for their Clothes Closet. (1st Wednesday of the month or 3rd Saturday) This service has helped my self esteem & lessened my financial burden. I am humble & grateful for the staff & church for thus service to the community.

I really love and enjoy having to go to Newington Baptist Church every Sunday morning to be learning God's word and worship with my church family which services start right at 10 a.m. in the gym with Pastor Jim and we praise God through the power of singing Christian songs. I made tons of friends for when I started going there in February to 2017.

Newington Baptist Church (NBC) located in Gloucester Courthouse, VA is a wonderful place to worship God and learn about Jesus! My family and I were looking for a church when we moved to Gloucester in 2007 and we found a loving family! I love NBC, Pastor Mike, Pastor Brian, Pastor Jim and everyone else at NBC! Come check us out and worship with us! You are always welcome!
