Took my dog there today and unfortunately had to put her down. Dr. Amy and the tech that assisted her were amazing, talked us through the terrible process and gave us all the time we needed with our baby even after she was gone. Can’t say thank you enough..

A Big thank you to the team at Animal Care of Gloucester, today, I had to make the very hard decision to let my sweet Samantha go over the rainbow bridge, the team treated my daughter and I along with Samantha with so much compassion, I felt their hearts were just as broken as ours, they did not rush us, they let me hold my sweet girl and just cry. Today has been a very hard day, but I am thankful for your caring and loving staff. I greatly appreciate the kindness and compassion in this very difficult time

This Vet Hospital turns emergency patients away if you’re not living in the area and they won’t see new patients in an emergency. I’d highly suggest finding another option that does. They need a dose of animal love and i never thought I’d find such a vet.

As a routine patient at Gloucester Vet for the past 6 years, they highly disappointed me today. I showed up with my French Bulldog, in respiratory distress. Unbeknownst to me, Friday is now an appointment only day. They wouldnt even check my baby out. Instead recommended an emergency vet that was another 40 minutes away, on top of the 20 I had already driven. When we arrived at the emergency vet, they immediately took my baby back where he had to be sedated and placed on oxygen. This has been a very disappointing day, to show up somewhere we had many times in the past 6 years, to basically be handed a pamphlet and sent out the door.

Been going here for many years. Absolutely every staff member is kind, understanding, and helpful. Dogs are on one side and cats on the other. The waiting areas are clean and so are the exam rooms.

In the beginning I loved the convenience of the location but quickly became frustrated with lack of appt availability and long wait times. They have recently added Friday/Saturday appt times however it doesn’t make up for the impersonal visit and inability to stay with pet while shots are administered. Wish more was done face to face to ease stress of animals.

We take all 3 of our dogs here. They take real good care of them. They are very friendly.
