Our visit today was very nice. They took us right back. Amanda and Ana were very pleasant and sweet. Helping my daughter to stay calm ( she does not care for going to the dentist) and explaining things to us better about her fillings. I was very grateful that when Melissa personally took the time to speak with me about my concerns. Thank you!

I had a great experience at Aspen Dental. Everyone was very nice and respectful. I like that there was no judgment. I hadn't been to the dentist in a while and I was nervous that I would be judged. Or asked why I haven't been in so long. But it was none of that.

Today 11/6/2023 was my first appointment with Aspen Dental in Gloucester and it was great! First off the facility is beautiful and very clean and inviting. From the kind receptionist to the dentist assistant “very sweet”❤️ and the young lady who helped with making sure my insurance was covering everything for my visit today “thank you”? and the really nice dentist as well. My appointment was smooth and I was very comfortable here from start to finish. I had to come to Gloucester because all the other Aspen Dentals were booked in my area but I’m so glad I came here today. Keep up the great work everyone!!! See you Wednesday for my cleaning!!!!

I had an appointment here in October and had to call back for questions and information about my appointment the same day that my appointment took place about an hour after I left the office, left a message and never heard back. The facility is clean, process is super long I was there for about 2 hours establishing care, the staff was nice However, I am giving 1 start because I haven't heard back regarding my question and now looking for a new dental provider. I also don't like that I was being passed off to different people without explanations.

Excellent experience! They were so patient & understanding. They explained everything very well and referred me to a great endodontist! I am a very proud Aspen customer, will be treating my teeth better with them!!

Great experience. Clean environment and pleasant staff. Hygienist spoke to me throughout her exam and Dentist spend time with me to answer my questions. I was given a referral to an Oral Surgeon if I opt to go that route. The young lady taking the xrays was very professional. There is another office 2 miles from my home but this visit was so spot on I leaning toward returning here for my dental work! I strongly recommend this location.

I called the Gloucester office after not being able to speak with the Newport News office wher Im currently a patient. When the phone was answered I explain why I was calling the employee on the other end (didnt catch her name) was very rude and short and it appeared I was bothering her. She said she would speak with the doctor and get back to me I never received a call back. I myself work in the medical field and I would never speak with my patients this way, bad day or not this has to be left at the door on the day starts.

Aspen Dental has some serious staffing issues, difficulties with getting appointments and cancellations due to dentist unavailability! Look for dental care elsewhere is my advice.I don't understand how they get the posted favorable ratings as their system is so fraught with problems

I really enjoyed my visit from the time I entered the facility the staff was warm and welcoming. The took me in a timely manner.I was really satisfied by the steps they took in making my dentures from taking impressions, to fitting, to picking color. I would recommend to family and friends

I never actually spoke to someone to schedule my first appointment. I tried so that I could explain what I wanted. All automated. I had wanted a dental cleaning, and upon arrival, and waiting past my scheduled time, I was taken back, x-rayed multiple times, (no decay) and was immediately given a treatment plan for other items and sent to the financial office to discuss payment. I did not even receive a dental cleaning. Never once did the office attempt to obtain dental records from my prior dentist (the only reason I left was my insurance became out-of-network), otherwise they would have known that all I needed was a standard cleaning, and that the treatments I allegedly needed weren’t necessary because I was improving, not comprehensive dental cleaning, and other costly treatments. I feel, in my opinion this dental practice is quick to up sell their services, and charge exorbitant fees for their services to offset the negotiated rates from insurance providers. The staff also seemed hurried, and the experience wasn’t welcoming. They advertise affordable dentistry, but I can say from my experiences that isn’t the case. I still have a credit in my account, and trying to discuss this with anyone is exhausting. I considered one star, but I’m feeling nice today.

Unbelievable!! I've had a appointment for 40 days out. New patient. I received a text to call. And I did. I received a text to also confirm and I did. I go to my appointment..and the lady at the front desk said I wasn't on the schedule because I didn't answer ANOTHER confirming phone call the day before. I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews. I'll find another dentist...

I had called 6 other dentists due to excruciating pain. Nobody returned my call. I called Aspen dental and they got me in the next day and the dentist was able to extract the 2 teeth that were bothering me. I will definitely continue to go to Aspen dental in Gloucester VA. The staff is amazing

Sux take my insurance information the day before even called to make sure they had it. Let me continue with my appointment and everything to tell me at the end they aren't in network with my insurance. Cheapest they could offer was $800. HAHAHA LMAFO will go elsewhere for cheaper!!!¡

I liked the dentist and dental staff! Long process just for X-rays and exam. Was there nearly 3 hours and finally was told by Melissa Ward that my insurance was not covering anything and she would have to call them. Said she would call me back. When she didn’t call back I called her the next day and she said she was sorry and promised to call me back by the end of that day. She didn’t and that was last week! I called today and was told she was not available and then they looked me up and said they were not part of my network (anthem) which is listed on their site. They should really get that info BEFORE seeing a patient! And if you say you will call someone back, you really should even if it’s bad news. Unprofessional Office Staff.

Had to make a last-minute appointment due to a broken tooth. Everyone was so incredibly kind, they made me feel so welcome and even turned my "sad girl" music on for me during my extraction. This is the most relaxed I've been during a dental appointment.
