First time in store today. Clean store with good selection of gear. And I really liked the selection of local team custom items. Minus stars because staff was pretty abrasive about my questions. Seemed to be having a very nice conversation with the people in front of me but I needed a football and was ready to buy multiple whatever was on hand but left frustrated that we couldn't get past why I needed one in February.

The Sport Shack is another great example of a great local business here in Gloucester. Very knowledgeable owner. He has helped us several times purchasing soccer gear for my daughter. The shop owner has a wealth of knowledge and makes sure you leave with a good quality product that you are happy with. We mistakenly strayed and tried to buy a pair of cleats from Amazon and soon realized we needed to make the trip up to the Sports Shack and get a pair that fit her feet better. Of course, they did not disappoint and made sure we were fitted with a quality pair of cleats that fit my daughter perfectly. It's a great environment with the shop owner and his little dog, which is just as friendly as the owner. ? I would recommend skipping Amazon and Wal-Mart and going to Sport Shack so you can purchase the correct product and you can enjoy the sport that you are participating in without having to worry about having the wrong gear.

This is my second time going in there. First time was to look at prices and ask questions. We brought our son in there today . Guy was so friendly and helpful. So good with son and showed me what to do. I will definitely be going back there.

Sports Shack came through when I was in need of cleats last minute for my son. They had exactly what we needed, & for a great price. I wish I had gotten the ladies name that helped us! She was extremely friendly & helpful. We will definitely come back for future needs.
