Thud is for over the phone review I literally have no respect I literally have a loan with them and they literally went from saying that I owe them 409 dollars 500 and something because their 3rd party refused to take themselves off and u tried to get them off and they said it is simple just add the Langley on my insurance but ok if I do it what happens if I pay it off and they still on my insurance u have trust issues sorry second problem is I tried to pay today 409 and they refused my money don't go to this company

You can't call your local branch and ask a question. You get some dude in India who is completely useless and ends up being less communicative than the actual robot you deal with to go through their menu. Every time I call them I've had this problem, they absolutely do not have staff to answer the phone which makes me wonder about the actual capability of the services they offer. I'd recommend Chesapeake bank over these clowns.

Charge $160 late fee because their system won’t update automatic mortgage payments when escrow changes. The payments are supposed to be automatic for a reason. Then, when you go to pay the full amount due, they will not accept a payment online or over the phone because their system will only accept balance due AND next month’s payment. Will be filing a complaint for this egregious and unethical conduct.

I joined Langley Federal Credit Union earlier this year. Super friendly employees. They have guided me in the right direction in securing banking services. They have drive through services and/or in person banking transactions.

They don't answer phones, there are no customer service reps online. Why give your money to an institution that doesn't support it customers. They want me to go 12 miles to make an appointment for a few questions, that's ridiculous and the only credit union that offers zero support on the phone or on line. This is how we live now yet after 2 years of COVID protocols, they still make it hard to use your own money. Open an account with questionable credit and get no debit card. Awful

I’ve been with Langley for 10 years and never experienced a single issue until dealing with Mathew Bass mortgage loan officer. We went through the whole loan process and were 90% done last we heard from Mathew is that we needed a settlement date and most recent paystubs so we sent the info to him via email there preferred method of communication. After week goes by we tried reaching out to him by phone and email to make sure he received our recent email as we haven’t heard anything. Then another week and half go by and still nothing after multiple attempts of trying to reach him, We decide to call and ask for a manager and to no surprise no one was available so the lady took all my info down and said I’d hear from someone shortly. Another week and half goes by so I call again and same thing no one is available manager wise so she took my info down again. Two days later I get a email from another loan officer who apparently took my loan over and she was trying to start the whole thing over. Never heard from a manager. Ohhhh and Mathew decided to run my credit in the beginning and then again sometime later without my permission or letting me know why he was running it again (still have no idea because there terrible lack of communication) so credit has been ran 3 times total now as we switch companies and it has been the best decision ever so if you need one check out Alcova and ask for Dave he’s the man. I’m thinking about canceling everything I have at Langley after this absolute nightmare with Langley

My husband was pre-approved for an auto loan. Went to Richmond to purchase the vehicle and have been at the car lot since 10:00 am waiting for them to return our phone calls. Called them 5 times and we're told someone would call back. It is now 4:00pm and we still haven't heard from anyone. Great customer service ? took off work for nothing. After I wrote this review I got on the phone for the 6th time and this time I insisted on talking to someone in the Hayes branch, Bingo! I explained our experience to the loan officer that helped me and did not hang up with me until we got it all straight and we drove our new truck home ?. She explained that with many of the employees working from home things are a bit chaotic and apologized. Thank you Ashley for saving the day, and going above and beyond the call of duty to provide exelant customer service. You a an awesome team player and an asset to lfcu.
