I moved quite a bit while I was in the military and also bought several rentals. It got to the point when I wouldn't ask for a home inspection because it just wasn't worth it; the inspectors were rarely very thorough. Marty and his team are at another level. The detail and thoroughness is extraordinary. And I have a punch list that is meaningful. I highly recommend Eastern Home Inspections, especially if you have an older or more expensive house.

Marty has saved me from purchasing two money pits in the past couple of months. He is extremely thorough and will explain items so that they can be easily understood. He has now done a third home inspection with successful results. Marty also provides an excellent easy to read report with pictures for future maintenance of your home. I would not use anyone else to do a home inspection for me.

Marty did a thorough inspection for mold in our home. We had an issue with a dishwasher leak, and wanted to get things checked out just in case. The inspection was informative and gave us some great tips to prevent mold growth in the future. He was not alarmist and took a straightforward approach. I feel better informed about my home - and also relieved to know that we don't have a serious mold issue! If you suspect mold in your house, hire an independent inspector like Marty to give you an honest opinion.

Honestly, this is the best home inspector I've had the pleasure of working with. Marty is a down to earth guy with realistic prices that won't break your bank. He doesn't try to upsell you like other companies would and is incredibly thorough. Overall, I'd be a repeat customer any day of the week and would recommend his services to any homeowners in need. Don't hang your wallet with the big chains, help support good small businesses.

EHI conducted a home inspection for us and provided an extremely detailed and thorough report. Mr. Abrahamson the business owner, was available for follow-up questions and was very helpful. Marty is very thorough and explained functions of certain things around the house in detail. He pointed out all the things that he thought needed attention and gave explanations on how to proceed in repairing, maintaining, etc. We highly recommend his services!
