Akyra took great care of my natural hair. She used quality products and took special care to massage and deep cleanse my scalp. I truly believe that's why I've been seeing the growth in my hair. The products she recommended I use for my own upkeep have also been doing wonders on my hair.

Love Akyra! Her salon is cute and welcoming! I’ve been here several times and plan to continue coming here regularly! I have always been pleased with my appointment and the end result. I’ll be bringing my four year old in next week for a curly cut. I def recommend Wholeness Hair Clinic to everyone!

I visited for my first time this week and Akyra was everything I've ever needed in a hair professional! She was knowledgeable, inviting, and extremely kind. Go here for your hair and waxing needs!!! You will not be disappointed. The owner/main stylist is extremely sweet and easy to talk too, so during your time with her you will feel relaxed and comfortable. I was hesitant to leave a review because I don't want more people to know about the awesome services that extend far beyond hair cuts and treatments at Wholeness Hair Clinic, but fine, I guess I'll share my secret... Akyra is by far one of the kindest human beings I've met. She provides a safe space with zero judgement and is very knowledgeable when it comes to hair. I first met her via a complimentary detox treatment (which was amazing) and since, I come to her for my facial waxing needs too. The taboo around women and facial hair is real, but it's legit a real thing and I'm blessed that Akyra always makes me feel confident when I walk out of her salon. I have very sensitive skin and can only use certain products on my face, but the wax she uses doesn't a) bring me up in hives or tear up my skin, and b) leave me looking like a flare or a beacon on top of a lighthouse post-wax. And I appreciate that! Her waxing prices are very fair and she does a great job. Go check her out if you're in the area, and if you're not, I highly recommend booking a scalp detox treatment if you have dandruff or any other scalp issues. Also - curly haired crew - this is your girl. She will look after you, she understands curly hair, makes your hair look bomb when you leave the salon and has great products available.

I hadn't had a haircut since pre-pandemic, Fall of 2019. Even before the pandemic, I'm not one to get my haircut frequently. My hair texture is very mixed-- bits of it straight, a bit curly, sometimes frizzy, sometimes wavy, sometimes curly. I rarely enjoy a haircut or the results of the cut. In early January, I went for a haircut at the Wholeness Hair Clinic and it was the best haircut I've had in decades! She really sculpted my hair to fit my face and personality. I liked it when I left the saloon that day and have grown to love it more as the cut does well even on challenging hair days. I highly recommend Wholeness Hair Clinic, I'll definitely go back!
