Had to come to this one instead of the forest Ave location due to a beauty item (equate hydration gel) not being in stock there. Theyve remodeling this location and the beauty center is sectioned off from the rest of the store. I went to grab the gel and throw it in my basket to continue shoping and was stopped by am employee before I left the section and was told I must pay for this item before returning back to my shopping. I paid and continued shopping, however the experience reminded me of the hood stores that lock up everything I actively avoid. Its a shame this location is now ghetto too, I'd suggest target/kroger moving forward

Not sure how some of the isles are completely messy and the next isle over is pristine.
The day I was in here I noticed that there were many spoiled produce items as well as one isle had busted glass bottles which I’m sure a customer had just done.
Other than the above normal issues I would say that this Walmart is slightly above average and the workers seem to be on top of stocking the shelves.

I go into walmart on broad do to fact its less than 2 miles away and I'm caring for my elderly mom. Can't be gone long. Woman working customer service where I was needing to pay for walmart to walmart. She questions me about why asks me how much I want it for which was only going to Florida, proceeds to tell me after I gave amount that there's a cut off of $2500. She did not want to help me at all only continue her convo with male standing off to side.
I have to drive to walmart on parham in which I learned that the woman at 1st walmart, she flat out lied to me just so she could continue her convo with her boyfriend!!!
I will NOT ever go back to this walmart again! She forced me to leave a bedridden woman for way to long just because she did not want to help me. Prejudice much! I'm not white but American Indian. Shame on you for being so lazy, unpleasant, rude, etc!
Any and all good reviews for broad street walmart are most likely solely due to they had friends, relatives,themselves give false praises. Walmart on broad street, Glen Allen Va is NO good!! Most employees will NOT help and are extremely rude! I eliminate them all together now. Give lots of business to local grocery stores, home depot, harbor freight. Lowes.

I have been trying to call since I left products at the register and live about 30 mins away. I have called the number listed here and on my receipt, and there no answer after say 30 calls. I can't come back till next weekend to retrieve items... hope they trust me.
