The property is absolutely breathtaking and everything couldn't have gone any smoother on our big day. From the moment we toured The Virginia Cliffe Inn to our actual wedding day, the entire team was nothing short of amazing to work with. The property doesn't need a lot of decorations which is exactly what we were going for since the scenery truly speaks for itself! We cannot thank Janice, Amanda, Rachel, and the entire Virginia Cliffe Inn team enough for making our day possible, it was everything I could have imagined and more.”

“Love it!! One of the coolest places I've stayed in a long time! Came on a business trip and didn't choose it, but thoroughly enjoyed it! It's historically pleasing, it's not the newest, but the coolest by far! Breakfast was awesome, service was amazing, but the underground tunnels were the best! Hope to stay here if I'm in the area again!”

“Have to give this place 5 stars. First off: Pet friendly!!!! Candlewood Suites was exactly what I needed after a long day of driving with 2 small dogs. Easy to find and minutes from I-95, this place also has ample parking (I was driving a large moving van with a trailer.) And after getting stuck in a parking lot in a hotel in NY the night prior, I cannot understate the importance of Candlewoods's generous parking lot size.
After checking in, I found my room on the 5th floor to be clean, well stocked with MORE than I needed but appreciated. Dishes, silverware, dishwashing soap, coffee maker and coffee. The room was spacious and had exactly the amenities listed: kitchenette, fridge, even a dishwasher. For the price, you really get a lot for your money more than most other places I've stayed at for this price range. Finally, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the front desk staff. The attendant was super friendly, professional and welcoming. 5 stars for: price, location, service, value for your dollar and quick booking. If I am ever in the Richmond area I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.”
