Title: A Frustrating Experience with TD Ameritrade's Fund Transfer ServicesRating: ★☆☆☆☆TD Ameritrade's fund transfer services have left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. My recent attempts to wire my own funds were met with unnecessary hassles, deliberate delays, and a lack of professionalism that one would expect from a reputable financial institution.First and foremost, the process of wiring domestic funds through TD Ameritrade is an absolute nightmare. They claim to have "security procedures" in place, but it feels more like an excuse to inconvenience their customers. Instead of focusing on verifying pertinent information related to the wire, they seem more interested in collecting personal data that is completely irrelevant to the transaction. This unnecessary verification process only adds to the frustration and wastes valuable time. However, the real nightmare begins when attempting to send an international wire. You would expect a company of TD Ameritrade's stature to have a seamless and efficient system in place for international transactions, but sadly, this is not the case. Dealing with them feels like you're stuck in a small town bank that has never even contemplated the concept of moving money across borders. The lack of knowledge and preparedness displayed by TD Ameritrade when it comes to international transfers is astonishing. They seem ill-equipped to handle such transactions, resulting in excessive delays and a complete lack of transparency. It's as if they don't understand the importance of timely and secure international fund transfers or simply don't care. The frustration only intensifies when you try to communicate with their customer support. Their representatives often lack the knowledge and expertise necessary to address the specific issues related to fund transfers. Instead of receiving helpful guidance, you're left with generic responses and unhelpful advice. It's evident that TD Ameritrade's customer service team is not adequately trained to handle complex international transactions. In conclusion, TD Ameritrade's fund transfer services have been a source of constant disappointment. The convoluted domestic wiring process, combined with their complete lack of competence in handling international transfers, has left me feeling frustrated and let down. If you require a smooth and efficient fund transfer experience, I strongly advise you to seek alternatives to TD Ameritrade.

This is no longer a TD Ameritrade bank. They can't do any atm or cash transactions. They have a staff personnel who seems unable to do anything for me but mail a check... Not helpful.Closest office is posted as McClean, VA. Good luck. I'll be closing this account.

Great Staff. Not a TD Bank tho. It's a TD Ameritrade Brokerage, a different company with the same exact logo that the nice staff insisted was only similar. Also this location is primarily a Charles Schwab, so don't look for a TD Bank here cause that's not this place.

The wait time for help is 1 hour!! Unbelievably bad service. Thus far, 38 minutes on hold already ... to clarify a trade. I will change to another platform as soon as possible.

Opening a simple LLC entity account with TD Ameritrade is annoying for nothing. Staff has their heads in the clouds asking same questions you put on the application form, and still has no record of it next day. TDA has brokers answering customer service calls - aren’t brokers supposed to be focused on trading rather than asking same questions time and again.... We’ll see if the account gets open today after a week of empty talks...or we’ll go somewhere else. TDA practice don’t make any sense though ‘cause if bad people want to do something wrong, they will lie their way in via a simplest route. Crazy annoying delays for truly no reason.Individual accounts are easy to open and great.

Now I understand why Tom Sosnoff could not work in TD Ameritrade environment. With over 17 years of equity trading and investing experience, I have developed patience and tolerance that makes me consistently successful year over year. With all that patience, I rate TDA’s professionalism the worst. We are withdrawing our LLC account application for one reason: If this nightmare is how they want to get a customer, imagine how they could care less when they have your money. A ridiculously bad experience - makes me want to puke!
