Excellent care for my senior dog, and someone from the office followed up with me 3 times to make sure my dog felt better. The vaccines made him very sore.

They have been our vet. for six years, and every time we have to take our dogs they are amazing.
Sadly, over the last year we have had to have two dogs put to sleep, and the staff have truly been nothing short of amazing. They gave us all the time we needed, walked us through the whole process, and even sent us sympathy cards. I can't say enough great things about Short Pump Animal Hospital.

Horrendous experience - I have an extremely friendly dog who has always loved the vet. Without asking they muzzled him for his examination. He couldn't breathe and panicked to the point of vomiting. Never again.

We had a wonderful experience with Short Pump Animal Hospital! Our cat had to have the last of her teeth removed. About a year ago, we went to another veterinary hospital in the area for the same procedure that went poorly. We mentioned this at the initial appointment, and both Dr. Wigley and Dr. Morlino went above and beyond to care for our cat. They were very informative and walked us through each step. The aftercare was also fantastic! After taking our cat to the other location, we had to bring her back to have an infection corrected. However, at Short Pump Animal Hospital, she was herself again in only a day or two and healed beautifully. It was a night and day difference. We will be taking her to Short Pump Animal Hospital for all her appointments from now on! Thank you so much!!

I have said it previously and will say it again....this facility is the BEST! I now drive 25-30 min to get there, because they care about your animals vs making money. They ensure that your pet is comfortable and speak with you in an honest and thorough fashion, in order to make the decisions that make you comfortable......no pressure! I would rather take the time to drive here and know my fur baby is cared for vs just going somewhere close to home for convenience.

My husband called this hospital because our dog has a large cut that needs assistance. This place was recommended by the ER. My dog was already seen by an ER, but we needed more assistance with aftercare. Whoever answered the phone was very rude to my husband. They stated they couldn’t see her until Friday and that it would be too long. When my husband asked if they knew anyone in the area he was told to Google it. Such disgusting behavior. If you don’t care about animals, maybe you shouldn’t be in practice. Remember: the person who answers your calls is the most important person because it determines your company’s morals and ethics.

New to Virginia, I found SPVC to have an excellent, competent, & knowledgeable veterinarian and staff. The efficient team handled me (a new client) and my 13 week kittens with obvious kindness from check in to exam room to check out. Questions answered, medications administered and working (!), so i am delighted with this firm and will trust them to care for my pets into the future.

Legitimately could not ask for a better veterinarian and staff. Everyone there is incredibly kind and genuinely cares about you and your animal. They were able to resolve a reoccurring issue my dog has dealt with for years with a single outpatient surgery. Could not be happier with my choice of vet, and they continue to prove it every time we visit
