I was appalled at the condition of the bathroom shower floor. If this is the way you keep the rest of your hotel clean....I assure you I won't be back. The toilet plunger by the entrance door to the room should've been my first clue. I expected much better than this from a Hilton.

Expected more from a Hilton. Beautiful lobby and great staff. However, the room left much to be desired. Bathroom had no soap dish or trash receptacle. The bathtub was rust stained and the white finish was worn off. The mattress had brown stains and was torn. I will not be staying there again.

My partner and I booked a room at the Hilton Garden Inn in Glen Allen for 3 nights over Labor Day Weekend. As a long time HHonors member I try to stay at Hilton properties whenever possible.
One of the dealbreakers when I book a hotel is daily housekeeping service. A shame that something so basic is something you now have to beg for.
When I saw that my room was not clean on our first night, I made it a point to visit the front desk. that’s when I was told that housekeeping is on request only. Had I known that, I never would have stayed here. However, I asked the desk manager to add me to the list to have our cleaned that day. And, to make doubly sure my room would be cleaned, I visited the front desk again this morning to confirm my room is on the list for housekeeping. They assured me it was.
Well, when we arrived back at our room we saw, to our shock and dismay, that our room was NOT cleaned. I once again went down to the front desk. I was told there were only Two housekeepers scheduled today so they didn’t get to our room.
Needless to say I am appalled at this horrible housekeeping policy, especially because there was nothing written in the Hilton website about it. I looked, believe me. So you want to cut costs, fine. At least tell people what the policy is and give me an option to stay somewhere else.

This hotel is in a great location. They have friendly staff. Good service. The only thing is that the hotel rooms need to be updated, especially the bathrooms and carpet.

This is such an outdated hotel - room 427 the deadbolt was falling off the wall & barely functioning. The bath tub would not drain & would back up with the dirty water. I asked to buy bottles of water & front desk stated they only had the tiny bottles. I was overcharged over $50 dollars for my stay I pre-paid for.

Rooms are showing wear and tear, broken tile at elevator and loose tile in bathroom. Rooms need a refurbish. Hallways are not air conditioned well, humid and uncomfortable.

There was a dead bedbug in the bathroom
There was pee on the toilet , rust in the shower floor
Hallway smell very bed ( like a nursing home)
I ask for a different room they said they where full
This is the Hilton I expected much better
