I have purchased many vehicles in my life, this experience was by far THE BEST!!! I loved being able to walk the lot without any “sales” pressure! I loved the variety of vehicles, the grouping to allow for ease of comparison, the availability to look inside each vehicle and the “no haggle” price posted very clearly on the car! I appreciated the ability to schedule an appointment with an associate to understand how the CarMax process works. Then a discussion about what I was looking for and the options that allowed for my specific needs to be fulfilled. MY car was not on the lot I entered but it was available nearby and scheduled for free delivery for me to inspect and test drive. I purchased the car the sales representative and I had found, KENNY IS EXCELLENT!!! Kenny is very knowledgeable about car model history and offerings. Kenny is a delight to work with, very accommodating, attentive, warm and professional!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND KENNY & CARMAX!!! Thank you!!!!

Not sure how they stay so busy. The service is absolute garbage. Chatted online to check if a car was available and was invited in to test drive. Sales guy approached me mumbling and told me to find the car myself, should be unlocked and let him know if I wanted to drive. Found the car which was locked and received nothing but attitude when I came back inside to ask about getting it unlocked. Specified that I want to test drive and he started pressing me about how I'm financing, quoting high rates and babbling on about how they don't really allow test drives on these cars. It's a 60k car, not some high end exotic. I came in open to buying used and was promptly and efficiently put off.

Great sales crew but to be honest the cars are a bit overpriced buy I paid the overprice because I wanted particular options.

The car buying experience was OK. I like the fact that you don't have to haggle over the price. However, the process for them to register the car with DMV is not working. After 2 1/2 weeks, they still haven't changed the registration from the car I traded, as they said they would do. No communication from them, and I'm not sure what to do about the issue.

When I got my info approved and was going to pick up at express pick up everything was running smoothly up until 20 mins before i went to the dealership! They called me and said my car couldn’t be picked up because the battery wasn’t working and it was a dent ! I went there because at this point i was irritated. They gave me a loaner car after i explained i was going out of town . Nobody offered over the phone and told me the manager was gonna call me and when i got there he had no idea who i was or about my car . He took me to the car it lit up and wouldn’t start . Days went by no call when they said the next day it would be ready . So i called and spoke to the mechanic part . They had no idea about my car . They said they would call me right back and no calls. Next day i get a call at 6 to tell me the car was ready . Got up there and they gave the keys i said well where the bow no nothing . They got it took the pic and offered me 50 bucks for a dinner smh . Wasn’t ideal but i love the car

State trooper informed me that the inspection sticker I got from Carmax was a counterfeit and Carmax did not seem to care in any way whatsoever. Check ur stickers people!
