We always do our very best to support local vendors, So we purchased a stackable washer and dryer from Palmers. They sold us defective washer that rusts and has ruined many of our towels and clothes. We brought it to their attention and THEY DID NOTHING, they kept ignoring us, not returning calls, not showing up, and just kept stringing us along until the warranty period ran out. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this vendor. They sell inferior products, they have horrible customer service, and you will be wasting your hard earned money. Go ahead and buy what you need from Lowe's or Home Depot at the very least you'll get what you paid for.

I purchased a used GE washing machine while mine was being serviced because I was told they had a 6 week waiting time. I used the washer for approximately 2 weeks and it stopped spinning out the water. I took it back, it was after hours, but I left a note inside the washer so they had my info. I waited weeks to hear back but never got a call. I called them every week for about 2 months and finally I drove down there because my sister told me it was still sitting outside. Mr. Palmer was there and I explained to him what had happened and he told me that the washing machine I was claiming to be mine had been dropped off by some man named John Boy! Soo..Mr. Palmer said he would check into it and call me back. That didn't happen. Once again I start calling and leaving messages until finally I told them I was going to post over every social media available and file a report with FCSD. Things changed at that point or so I thought. Mr. Palmer said he would service my machine and get back to me and that's been almost 3 weeks now and I haven't heard anything. I call and nobody answers. If you are looking to buy or have something serviced by Palmers Electronics I strongly urge you to reconsider. It's not worth the hassle. I bought a washing b g machine I didn't need and have been told basically that I was lying about the original machine I took down for repairs and you can't get anyone to call you back. I'm trying now to just get my machine back fixed or not.

Don, Patti & Crystal are awesome. When we lived at the lake we purchased all of our appliances from Palmer’s. Since we moved to Roanoke, nothing has changed! I recommend Palmer’s to anyone needing quality appliances & TV’s. Best customer service, quick delivery & TV installation.

I purchased an expensive KitchedAid refrigerator a couple years ago when my older refrigerator needed replaced. Had a good experience at that time. Recently the led lights in the refrigerator freezer drawer and inside the refrigerator started flickering, sort of like strobe lights. I called and explained the issue. I was told by Patti the lady on the phone that the lights are wired in series and usually replacing the led light in the freezer would fix this issue and they would order me an led module. Over the course of over 2 months I received no notifications on order status. I called several times and even stopped by their store once to get a status update. I was always told that the parts are on backordered and each time I had to remind them of who I was, give them my phone number again. After 11 weeks of waiting I decided to go online and research the part number and flickering light problem. There seems to be many issues with the led light module in the freezer going bad causing lights to flicker. I then decided to see what the lead times were for the parts. I discovered I could buy direct OEM parts from numerous sources. In addition there were lots of other suppliers with replacement not OEM that were less expensive that I stayed away from. I ordered the OEM part with a 2-3 day delivery. This poor review is because I have been told the parts were backordered and not available for over 11 weeks. I received no follow calls or updates. As a customer whom purchased this refrigerator from them, I am not happy with their repair service after they sell you an appliance. Really nice people to talk to on the phone. I am just very dissatisfied with no follow up and feel like I was getting canned excuses. I don’t think I will be doing business with them again.Service: Household appliance installation
