I've never had this much trouble out of a pharmacy in my entire life. They have no desire to help you when it comes to your prescriptions. The pharmacist there now sends back every prescription that the doctor sends in just for her too "double check it" and it takes days to get it. I'm highly disappointed in this place!!!! We wouldn't be there if we didn't need medicine so get it together CVS!

Too much to type. Customer service is horrible. Every time I go. If I had a choice of where to get my prescriptions filled, ait would not be here.

Worst place ever. Wouldn't fill my prescription because it was out of state. I broke my tooth and had to find somewhere to get it removed so that was the first place. Refused to fill my prescription.

Worse pharmacy I been too even when I used to work in the pharmacy there was always someone working there we didn’t just disappear for an hour and have people wait. Also send texts that your prescription is ready so you go get it and they say it’s return to stock. Need to rethink how to run it

This is probably the worst pharmacy I’ve ever experienced. Having to argue with someone every single week to get a prescription filled is awful, and now I’m unable to get any filled period because of where the address is on the label. Now I’m completely out of medicines and no other pharmacy nearby accepts the insurance I have. I do have to say, that the man working on the last few times I came in was very patient and polite, and he did everything he could to help though he was unable to do much. I usually don’t review unless it’s positive, but I’ve been back and forth with this place so much I’m just over it. And now I’m going to be out of critical medicines until I find another pharmacy to maybe accept my insurance, if I even do. If I had a lot of money it wouldn’t matter much, but I don’t and I’m not able to pay out of pocket every time for it.

Staff is always helpful and patient (I have mobility challenges). They help me take advantage of my CarePass benefits, coupons, and even my Extra Help benefits through my insurance. They are always happy to answer my questions.

It takes this pharmacy days to fill one prescription. Good luck trying to get a live pharmacist on the phone. This pharmacy called me for a month about one of my daughter's prescriptions, but when I would go up there to pick the prescription up, the pharmacy techs would tell me they didn't have a prescription for her. This went on until I called her doctor and the doctor called up there. I have been going here for years and it seems ever since the new pharmacist took over service has gone down hill. I am going to another pharmacy.

The CVS at Gateway Plaza in Gate City, Va is well stocked. Their staff is helpful and friendly. I especially enjoy seeing the sales clerk when I enter the store because she is alway smiling.

I have went to pick up my prescriptions two times and they have been closed at 6pm even though their hours say they close at 8pm. Think it's time to change pharmacists.

The service was horrible they were out of the prescription and recommended to send it somewhere 45 minutes away as opposed to 20 minutes or less

Arrived at CVS Gate City, VA today at 5:30 PM proceeded to tell pharmacist what we needed. Covid 19 vaccine. He said we close at 6 and it takes 15 minutes to thaw out. OK at this time it's about 5:30 it would have been OK to suggest waiting 15 minutes or going to another close location. He did neither of these things neither did the other person there. He told me I could ce back tomorrow. No I cannot and I'm annoyed his privilege allows him to think that everyone has free time and to even assume everyone has a cell phone. I said can you call another CVS and see if they have it. He said yeah you can call them. I SAID NO CAN YOU CALL THEM. I told him which store because he told me he was from Abingdon. He then said nothing and I said forget it. He said Ma'am I'm going to call as I'm leaving. No it's to late at this point I shouldn't have to suggest solutions to have a positive customer service experience that is the Employees job. I really expected a pharmacist to have better customer service skills. No they were just worried about closing not about assuring that my autistic daughter gor her 2nd Covid vaccine. A vaccine that we waited for due some medical issues that delayed it. Now we have to wait even longer.

This pharmacy is so bad that I am not sure why CVS corporation has evaluated what us going on in there. I've been all over the United States and this is literally the absolute worst CVS I've ever been in.

It was a great place a few years ago, and it depends on who is working. If the older gentlemen is working, you will never have any problems. But the new lady pharmacist will give you problems. She tries to play doctor and makes rules up on her own. I live over an hour and a half away and I usually get my medication a day early because I come that way once a month to see my dad and help him out when I can, so I usually go ahead and pick up my meds a day early, even though the doctor is perfectly fine and aware of that and my insurance even approved it. She will over rule both of them and won't let you get your scripts. So, I really hate change, but because of this one person, looks like I'm going to have to change pharmacy's. Good job CVS. You used to be a great place that had good people working there. But one bad apple will ruin the whole basket.

Most are nice that work there but do count your pills. They always leave out a couple of my prescriptions. I had meds that they said they could not get authorisation for and come to find out through my insurance it was authorized for mouths before I actually received. My dr call my insurance counpany and found that out.i.sufferd that long with terrible stomach pain.it to 2 months for diabetic supplies to get coverred.come to find out they where approved just a few days. They never let me know that either.
