My husband came in last minute to get a trailer tire put on after we had a blow out while traveling down to NC. Daniel was super helpful, quick and reasonable.

John’s tires in Galax across from aunt Beas,told me 2 weeks ago he had a matching set of 4 almost new tires for 230 bucks that I needed for my car:. I get there and when I go back to get these tires I see they do not match - close in pattern but all 4 were different brand so I asked him why they weren’t what I drove to Galax from pilot mountain for, he tells me the set he had wasn’t the size I needed like he’d thought.. OK whatever but he still charged me $220 for them damn things. The 2 kids changing my tires don’t even know how to run the torque wrench that btw stripped most my lug nuts that just took me and 2 other ladies 2 hours to get loose, but as they putting in the passenger back side tire I see the front is already flat so I get John come look to see they didn’t even tighten the valve stem. It gets better - I get what appears to be 4 pretty decent tires and go about my business to walk outside an hour later with a flat tire due to a hole in the side wall and it was a few minutes past closing time and I called he turns phone off and my ol man had to call him and he answered very apologetic come back anytime today we will exchange it.. 2 weeks and this tire was on the BACK of my focus.. It’s a wonder I haven’t had a blow out and wrecked with all the stuff I had going on last week or so.. I’ve had to go back to this place all 4 previous times I’ve went thru them thinking mistakes happen especially when on discount but after that and now this 2 weeks after spending that kind of money on used tires and getting screwed.. that’s a lot to me and my kids to find out its miracle we didn’t get hurt with that tire like that!! Apparently I’m one of a lot who’ve been ripped of by this greedy dumpster diving POS. I’ll see ya tomorrow John boy ? lord give me strength and all yall pray lol!

Don’t waste your time with this tire shop they charge you $35 for a leaky dry rotten tire! Had to go back up there three times in 72hrs all they did was patch and plug it over and over, also had an attitude about it still leaking like it’s my fault. This is the third day I’ve woke up and it was flat. If you want good service go to Pineda tire right up the street it may be $10 more but atleast their tires hold air and have a 3 day warranty. Based off recent reviews Johns has been selling bad tires off and on for months now and Pineda seems to fix all their screw ups.

He stayed over just to put my tires on himself and didn't even charge me extra and was fast and I mean lightning fast I highly recommend anyone who needs tires give this man a call you won't regret it

Was charged 50 bucks just to have a tire balanced and a stud replaced I also had the replacement stud also he told me it was going to be 35 bucks at first which I still thought was ridiculous and I had announced my displeasure of the price when everything was said and done he charged me $50 instead I will not be coming back to this place cuz at the end of it he was very rude to me and I do not recommend John's Tires but the one tire shop that is on Glendale near Grants I recommend that one

Was charged $30 for a used tire had to get 2 tires. Drove with them the very first day and realized the belt in the tire had broke. Went back to tell him and had to wait a week just to get 1 of the broke belt tires fixed and he put a tire on that was bigger than the rest of them. I called back to tell him he just kept giving bad tire after the other and he said I would have to just buy new ones for $85 a piece...which is just an outrageous amount of money considering he put 2 used tires that were completely bad from the start on my car which already cost me $60. The last time I used this place for tires I had it a few days and it blew up on me from a knot...so needless to say this guy knows he isn't getting very good tires used and still trying to sell them off like he doesn't know they have bubbles or broken belts
