I have been really happy with how everyone here so far. It has really been a great experience. The veterinarians are super cool and really take pride in their job. I had to take my cat after hours and she is scared of everyone but she fell in love with the vet on call. I'm sorry I'm bad with names but she just loved my kitty up and took the best care of her. Everyone in the office is really nice also. I highly recommend Galax Veterinary Clinic because I only want the best for my pets.

The office staff was very friendly and the vet was awesome. Not only did she treat my dog with care, she changed his meds from his old vet office and it made a tremendous difference. My 13 year old dog is walking without pain and so much happier.

We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to Dr. Fincher, and all of the staff for taking such great care of our puppies today. From the receptionist, to the medical professionals each and every one of them was extremely kind, and beyond knowledgeable. We greatly appreciate them taking the time to thoroughly explain everything to us, and answering all of our questions. I can’t say enough about the facilities cleanliness. It was spotless, and had absolutely no smell. Great experience from start to finish, we will be using galax veterinary clinic for all future services. From the Lyons family, THANK YOU!?

Wonderful people, very friendly and knowledgeable, office is always super clean…so glad we started bringing our pets here! On one occasion recently, we had a stray kitten show up on our porch. He looked to have been attacked and his little ear was almost totally missing. We worked with Twin County Humane Society and Galax Vet to get the little guy cared for, and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of folks. Kitty is going to be a-ok and make a full recovery because everyone involved was so accommodating and caring; especially considering this happened late on a Friday afternoon! We have nothing but great things to say about Galax Vet Clinic, they’re a valuable asset to our community!

I have been going to this vet since I moved here 7 years ago.
Since Covid, it seems you drop your pet off in the morning, they take care of quart they are told the problem is, then you pick them up in the afternoon.
My last several years of taking our pets here, I haven’t even seen the very.
This system did not serve us well when I took my daughter’s dog in for care.
We treated the dog for 4 weeks with antibiotics for Lyme disease.
This did nothing for the original complaint.
I think the receptionists don’t give all the information they are given, or just have poor communication skills.
6 weeks later, the dog had to be put down because she just continued to decline.
I feel if we had seen the vet, they may have had a better idea of what the problem was and maybe had a better treatment plan.

Called today about my sick cat around 1250 and I had a very rude and disrespectful person answer and made rude comments about me not taking my vets since 2014, ended by saying they couldn’t do anything for “it” and refused to call my cat anything but it even after I stated my cats name. Very rude and unprofessional to the person that answered the call if you don’t care enough about animals and hate your job to the point your gonna be rude to callers maybe you should quit.
