I showed up to this store not realizing it was closing. However I see a lady leave an I try to enter after her an the employee locked the door. It was 7:02 and she shook her head an said no. This store must be doing so well with sales they don't need the repeat business.

Thought about getting the Skin Tight Roll-On, but did not get a hello greeting or anything. I heard other guest get greeted and asked if they want or needed help, never asked me if I needed help. This played in my mind as I walked past the two employees two times. I wasn't sure if I had one can left of Skin Tight Roll-On in my house and decided to get it when I heard a customer say one item should be a bogo (buy one ger one free). The employee said "no, not this item." Turns out the employee at the register was wrong. The other employee corrected the cashier's mistake. I decided I wouldn't get the item I was going to buy. This store felt wrong to me.

Poor customer service. Only one employee was staffed when I went in and the employee's mother came in after me. The employee failed to help me and instead held a conversation with her mother.

This location does not carry enough hair products for black hair care. There is a very small selection of hair care products and has been this way for the past five years. Very disappointed at this Sally's.

Yesterday I went to buy the spray tan gun I've been getting for years, they said they don't carry it at this location, I opted for "self tan bronzing mousse" made by "Tanwise" instead. It was crap, so I went to return it, today, 24 hours later, with my receipt, and I paid cash, easiest return EVER right? The dark brunette who did my return seemed as if it was a personal affront, there was no exchange between us besides her asking for my phone number and if there was "anything wrong with it" the rest was silence, when I left there was no "thanks have a good day" or "bye" -not one word?! It was an effort for ME not to say "bye have a good one" or something to end the exchange.... I've shopped at Sally's for years and never returned anything before. I've been to this location several times, the same girl is always laughing loudly and joking with her coworkers -so her personality DOES exist...... no customer service skills whatsoever. I took my $15 and went next door to 5 Guys Burgers, they're always nice there lol. In the future I'll drive out of my way to avoid this Sally's location!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. This is the first Sally's I have been to that has had such a limited selection for natural or ethnic hair. I get it, Gainesville, VA isn't very diverse. But imagine the money you could make if your store was more inclusive. I went in for three things: large non elastic head bands; heated shower caps and shea butter. They had none of the above! These items may be used more in the natural/relaxed community but they are far from exclusive. I didn't want the trip to be a total waste of my time, so for kicks I wanted to look at the wigs. I asked the cashier and she said they only thing they had was a blonde pixie wig!!! I laughed and walked out. So much for inclusion. I have had better luck at CVS. Even though this location is convenient (and we have a Sally's membership), I plan to go out of my way to avoid wasting my time at this particular location.
