I have been a member of Lifetime Fitness Gym. since its inception, and I regret to express my dissatisfaction with the treatment I received from Estefany at the front desk. Her demeanor was unprofessional; she raised her voice and used inappropriate language, treating me as if I were an unwelcome visitor rather than a valued member. When I inquired about using the restroom, she escalated the situation unnecessarily, threatening to involve law enforcement and creating an atmosphere of hostility.
In contrast, I recently reactivated my membership with Jack, who exemplified professionalism and courtesy. He addressed my concerns attentively, assisted with my inquiries, and ensured my account was reactivated seamlessly. His approach reflects the high standards I expect from Lifetime Fitness Gym in Gainesville VA.
Additionally, I put my account on hold, only to discover it had been canceled without my consent. Moreover, I have noticed a significant increase in my membership fee, rising from $119 to 199 dollars, which I find unacceptable.
I am compelled to bring these issues to management's attention. While Jack deserves commendation for his exceptional service, the experience with Estefany has unfortunately tarnished my perception of Lifetime Fitness Gym.
I urge management to address these matters to foster an environment of respect and professionalism for all members.

What a joke of a gym. I went to go get a trial day pass to check it out and was informed it was $50 to be able to come in and see it … no free trial or tour. I wouldn’t buy a car unless I could drive it , and definitely wouldn’t spend almost $200 a month on a gym membership unless I could check it out for free first. Plenty of other nice gyms in the area for cheaper I suppose!

The gym is obviously very nice with a variety of equipment, classes, pool, salon, childcare and cafe. I never felt comfortable there though and despite working out for several months, very few of the trainers ever said hi or got to know me. It was very impersonal compared to other gyms I’ve joined before. The class schedule varies day to day, so what class works for you on Tuesday might not work for you any other day of the week.
The icing on the cake for me was getting made fun by a personal trainer behind my back. I was stretching and warming up with mini bands (legs, hips, glutes were all tight after having a baby). I initially braced myself with my right hand on the counter. I was initially facing away from the “welcome” desk, then turned around to brace with my left hand as I switched to stretching my right side. The personal trainer was making wildly exaggerated motions of my same stretches with a mocking face, but stopped immediately when he realized I had turned around. His coworker (another trainer that had been trying to sell me $800/month training sessions) signaled him to stop and he fumbled for a second and then they both looked away as if nothing happened. I was so shocked, embarrassed and most of all, disheartened. It was hard enough going to the gym after having a really difficult postpartum journey and a colicky baby that wouldn’t give me a moment’s peace at home. Now the only time I had to myself as a new mom was also tainted by some immature “bro” at the gym. 10/10 do not recommend unless you’re looking for the Instagram gym life experience.

Veronica, and her team nurse Amy, are absolutely phenomenal! They take the time to answer all your questions, you never feel rushed, they listen and build a relationship. So thrilled to have them caring for our entire family.

As a founding member of Lifetime Gainesville, I want to express my concerns about the current state of the gym. The cleanliness has significantly declined; associates are not properly maintaining the shower rooms, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, or towels. The locker rooms are also dirty. Given the high monthly membership fees, the cleanliness of the gym is not up to standard. I hope Lifetime leadership takes this seriously and addresses these issues promptly.

Like this place but price is expensive then any other lifetime in nova and don’t have much equipment for abs, such as TORSO ROTATION and many more which other facilities has . It has outdoor pool but never I used in 2 years they have to customize the price by using the facilities.
Please add TORSO ROTATION AND FEW OTHERS WHAT CENTREVILLE LOCATION HAS .

Most machines are outdated, trainers are rude and will kick you off of machines for their client ( female trainer did that to me last month), too many classes which you will also be kicked off of the squat racks.

Lost 5 members todsy with out having to go far! person at front desk unprofessional definitely made family and I feel discriminated. Had questions to join and get kids started on camp. A 5 page panflet was handdeded after letting her know we would like information....i guess we had to read trough it - but i had done my research online before heading there just wanted to clarify some questions. Sorry for asking for a pen! But there was no need to throw it at us. You could have let us know you couldn't assist us since you had to scan members in... wouldn't have mind waiting but made us feel very unimportant when you were scanning over us. We had to walk away before my kids saw anymore. Not what we expected.

I paid over $425 to use the outdoor pool and today I was told to pay additional $700 to access the outdoor pool as my $425 just covers the inside pool. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. This is a big scam
