I called at 11:33. I let them know I had a nail in my tire and I needed it fixed. I was told they were busy, but they had a 14:15 appointment time available. I get there right on time and checked my car in with them. At 17:20 I was called to the front and was told they weren't going to be able to get to it that day. What a way to waste 3 hours of my life.So much for making an appointment. I will never return to this place again.

I had a wonderful experience at this Goodyear, I came to get the Emissions done on my car , I didn’t know what to do, because I am a young college girl who knows nothing about this stuff. Zack or Jack was super nice and made the experience very smooth and easy. Very personable and helpful people at this good year.

Had to get my car inspected today. I anticipated a wait because it is a holiday. There was only one technician, they usually have two, so I was prepared to spend a long morning. Very pleasant surprise, the technician that was performing inspections is amazing!! Very professional and courteous, getting the vehicles inspected and moving on to the next with a smile. Further impressed to walk into the store and all the employees were professional and courteous. Ended up being a nice morning! Thank you

Used to love going to this place years ago for an oil change. Now when you make an appointment for one, be prepared to wait for an hour or two until they either start working on it or finish. Had an appointment at 11:30a, it is now 1:50p and they still have not started on my car. They also love to send you coupons of their services via mail after you get them done which is sooo cool.Update: we went home.

Working things out with the service manager & he has provided some good recommendations so far. It looks like they were able to do it right 2nd time around and found the problem. I'm working w them to figure out cost & labor for final fix. That's all we ask for - an honest merchant to keep going back to.

They misdiagnosed the problem and literally broke my vehicle which I drove to their Gainesville service center. I had to tow the vehicle to BMW dealership and they fixed everything in few hours. This place is poorly managed and they are ill trained. Stay away from this place and you will be able to save thousands by saving the lifetime of your vehicle...Wanted to add an update: BMW called me yesterday evening and informed me that the protective engine cover was missing from the vehicle. So, I contacted your Gainesville location, and they acknowledged having it.I'm quite bewildered by the highly unprofessional behavior of your Gainesville manager. He failed to ensure that the vehicle was properly reassembled before returning it to us. It almost sounded as if they were trying to hide the fact that they hadn't replaced the protective cover, possibly to conceal their mistake. When I went to pick up the cover, I didn't receive an apology, but I didn't expect one from such unprofessional management either.

"Happy" and Garrett are in beast mode this morning. Always the worst when you wait until the last minute for the emission's test but these two are doing the absolute BEST to get people in, out, and on the road. Much appreciated you two! Management, give them a nod.

My safety inspection sticker was due to expire at the end of this month. So I came into the shop to get my inspection. Because it was Friday afternoon, and the last weekday of the month, the car line was understandibly long. However, the inspector's name tag read, "Happy". I don't know if that's his real name, but it cheered me up a bit. He pointed out that I needed to replace a rusted out muffler clamp. So I agreed, since the car wouldn't pass inspection without this being fixed. Mr. "Happy" mechanic/inspector fixed it right up. I know these guys work very hard for their pay. So I am gratefull for your service - Mr. "Happy" :)

Title: Disappointing Experience and Lack of Response from Virginia Tire and Auto Gainesville VAI recently had a highly disappointing experience at Virginia Tire and Auto's Gainesville location, and unfortunately, their customer service has been equally disappointing. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, so I reached out to their customer service team via email twice before posting this review. However, I have not received any response from them, even though it has been approximately two days since my last email.During my visit, I arrived for my scheduled appointment at 3 pm, which I had made in person the previous Saturday. The purpose of my visit was to have four tires installed on my Audi S5 sportback, along with additional services. To my dismay, I was informed upon arrival that they had received only one tire, and the remaining tires were on back order without a definite delivery date.This situation was extremely frustrating, particularly because I had taken time off from work to attend the appointment. The service representative appeared inexperienced and continuously sought guidance from an unresponsive manager, who seemed disinterested in resolving the issue. To explore alternatives, I inquired about other all-season tires for my vehicle. Strangely, I was initially informed that no options were available. However, the manager eventually intervened and discovered continental all-season tires in their warehouse, contradicting the earlier information.Despite my reservations about the compatibility of the alternative tires, I decided to proceed, hoping for a satisfactory resolution. While waiting, I conducted some research and found the same tires at a significantly lower price on tirerack.com. I mentioned Virginia Tire and Auto's 110% Tire Price Guarantee policy to the service representative and, after multiple discussions with the manager, they agreed to match the price. They asked for the URL to verify the information.Unfortunately, when the paperwork was presented for signing, it did not reflect the revised price promised through the price match guarantee. The service representative explained that higher management approval was pending but assured me that I would receive the price match guarantee. Regrettably, I was not provided with a copy of the document for my records.To add to my disappointment, my appointment for the following day was scheduled, causing me to miss work once again. Despite expressing my concerns, nobody seemed to acknowledge or address them. As a new customer, I left the premises with a profound sense of unease regarding the trust and confidence I had initially placed in Virginia Tire and Auto Gainesville.After returning home, I attempted to contact Virginia Tire and Auto customer service through email twice about my recent experience. However, I have not received any response from them, despite giving them approximately two days since my last email. I wanted to send them an email first to give them the benefit of the doubt before posting this review.Considering the lack of response from their customer service and the disappointing experience I had, I have decided to cancel all services and requested a refund of my deposit. It is disheartening to realize that there are no consequences for wasting a customer's time and that their customer service seems unresponsive.Overall, my experience with Virginia Tire and Auto Gainesville VA fell far short of my expectations. The lack of communication, conflicting information, unfulfilled promises, and the absence of any response from their customer service have left me with a profound sense of disappointment. I hope that sharing this feedback encourages the establishment to improve its services, address customer concerns, and enhance their customer service responsiveness.Date of visit: July 2023

What the what people. Scheduled a wheel alignment for 4pm Wednesday. Dropped my car and I was told it would take about an hour. I asked them if they had my phone number. They said yes. I asked them to call me when the work was done. The kid said yes. And drummm rollll!!!!! I waited until 5:45pm and no call so I walk back over to see if my car was done. I did not see it so I expected to get a call in a few min. I started answering work email and when I looked up it was 6:09pm. I stood up to see what the hold up and all the lights were off and the doors were locked WTF seriously. Lucky an older gentleman was in the back and helped me out. Worst customer service experience ever, ever!

It doesn't surprise me that they have a 2.5 rating. I have taken my Ford F-150, which is a specialty truck to them for the past few years, but no more. Their customer service sucks. Q is the only one who is the least bit concerned and helpful. I took my truck there to have the tires balanced and rotated. The tires are 35 inch tires on a lifted truck and the first thing I noticed is the technician who was to do the work gunned my truck like he owned it, completely disrespecting that this was a customers truck. I guess the adage, drive it like you own it plays in here. So, I dropped my truck off on a Friday and by Monday, they still had not done anything to it. When I called to get a status update, I was told the tires had uneven wear on them and would need to be replaced. Keep in mind, I had just replaced these tires, they were all brand new, two tires in Apr and two more in July of 22. I eventually just went and picked it up, I noticed the truck had not been moved from where I originally parked it. So how did someone know that the tires were damaged and needing replacement. They didn't, they never even went to work on my truck. Disgraceful, they tout themselves as a family owned business but their staff is less than stellar. Don't use them, go to Piedmont Tire and Auto, you will probably fair much better.

Omg. This place went from being my favorite place to have my car serviced to bring my most disliked. I have used VA Tire in Gainesville for years. However, recently this place has gone down hill. I have went in for services only to find out afterwards they forgot to do half the job. Of course, they made good on this when it came to light. However, I recently found out that booking in advance online does not get you guaranteed service as their online scheduling system does not work. I brought my car in for an 11:30 oil change on a workday thinking it would be an hour. That turned into a 3 hour wait as they did not recognize my online appointment as a legitimate appointment and I got bumped behind everyone else that came in. This will probably be the last time I come here and it's too bad because they used to be a good place to go. Update: This is the second time I have received service here and left with more problems. The first time resulted in major engine failure on my car after getting an oil change. This time I noticed my car leaking oil after my oil change. I'm not sure what is going on here but the mechanics are not paying attention. Also stop taking my lug nut lock key sets. Those things are expensive, which is why I assume you steal my sets.

Horrible service. This place has gone downhill. Went in for a simple oil change and they didn't reattach the bottom engine cover correctly. It fell off and started scraping the ground and it was damaged beyond repair. This is the second time they did this.!

Called about getting my tire with a screw in it repaired on a Saturday. They said I could have an appointment for Tuesday or Wednesday. Really, I have to wait 3 to 4 days for a simple tire repair? What good is that. So I told them I'd go elsewhere.
