Emily is such a gem, both as a person and a photographer. She made the whole process so effortless — from helping me with wardrobe to making the session feel low key, comfortable, and easy. Her photography is experienced and beautiful. She has an eye for little details, something you just can’t teach. My photos are absolutely perfect and I cannot wait to use her again!

Emily is incredible and her photos are amazing! She did a wonderful job with our in home newborn session a couple of weeks ago as well as with our older toddler 18 months ago. Not only are the photos breath taking, but the entire experience is above and beyond any expectations. As sleep deprived parents of a newborn, she made the whole process relaxing and enjoyable. We love our photos from each session with her and will always use her to capture our baby and family moments.

We love Emily & cannot say enough wonderful things! We have used her for 2 in-home newborn sessions, a Mother's Day & Santa session in her beautiful studio & a recent family session in out new home. She is so patient with our littles, very responsive, and always makes the process so easy! And, of course, we are always obsessed with the photos!

Emily is a total pro at capturing newborns and families. She was a joy to spend time with, patient and loving with our older kids, and she can swaddle like no other! Our photos are true keepsakes and I would highly recommend her to other families!

We hired Emily for our newborn photo shoot and it was truly an amazing experience! Emily is so warm, kind, and professional. She truly is a master of her craft and our pictures came out absolutely gorgeous! Emily is a master at swaddling and kept our baby calm and happy the whole time! This was key in making our experience a positive one. We can’t wait to have Emily photograph our family in the future!

Emily was fantastic in every single way. Not only was she energetic and fun, she had a professionalism about her that made me feel so comfortable and confidant. You can tell instantly that she knows exactly what she is doing behind that camera. I had originally wanted some maternity pictures taken during my backyard baby shower. Well, I decided to get married during my baby shower so my maternity pictures were also my wedding pictures! So as you can imagine, the pressure was on!! She absolutely nailed it! I was blown away by how beautiful and tasteful they turned out. She paid attention to all of the right details from lighting, placement, the angle of my chin, all the way down to the pop in my foot! I couldn’t be happier with my photos.

Smooth and stress free photoshoot. It was rough trying to get my 2 year old toddler dressed and out of the house for the photoshoot, but once we got there Emily and her assistant were so sweet and good with baby girl. She didn’t throw a tantrum and this mama got to relax and try on some dresses that Emily had for me. My husband who hates photoshoots and grumbled the whole way there, enjoyed the experience as well! Most importantly the photos came out beautifully. Love our pictures.

We absolutely loved working with Emily for our birth and newborn photos! From the first time we chatted on the phone, I knew we’d be a great match. Emily is so friendly, competent, and honestly goes beyond the role of photographer - during both our birth experience and newborn shoot, she was right there to lend a hand and anticipate our needs before we could even ask for help. She’s truly a baby whisperer! She even called the hospital room service line to order us a meal after delivery so my husband could continue bonding with our baby while I was tended to by the medical team. I’m so glad we found Emily, who has now become a friend to our family, to capture some of the most precious moments of our lives, and we can’t wait for her to continue documenting our family as it grows!

I cannot say enough good things about Emily and the experience we had taking newborn pictures. Honestly, what a dream come true! From the first time we spoke on the phone, it felt like we clicked and she was both articulate about what she could do and her process, and also provided an awesome balance of flexibility for any hopes or requests I had for the photos. She answered my questions and gave me complete confidence that she was the right fit for me and my family. Preparing for the photos was easy too- she was so accommodating (and patient- ha!) in helping me figure out outfits, bending over backwards it felt like, to get it just right. Seriously, the dresses she provided from her wardrobe were out of this world - she really knocked it out of the park to help bring it all together. I was obsessed with several of them!! Then, once the big day arrived, it was really enjoyable. We all know how stressful family photos can be, and this really felt stress-free and like we were in the home of a friend. It wasn’t rushed, and Emily’s style was so laid-back and helpful that it allowed my entire family – including our five-year-old twins! —to be at ease and comfortable. I cannot emphasize this enough.The pictures turned out even better than I dreamed and hoped for. :) I could not even believe how perfect they felt for the vision we had, and how easy it felt like it all came together. We’ll cherish these photos of our sweet baby Poppy, and our family of 5 forever. Plus, now I feel like I can call Emily a friend. Win, win!

Emily photographed us for a newborn session in our home and for our daughter's first birthday milestone session in her studio - and we couldn't recommend her more!!! She is a joy to work with, makes you feel at ease and is a baby whisperer (even got our daughter to take a pacifier for the first time!). She's very communicative and thoughtful in her planning as well - you know what to expect and how to prepare. Her photos are so beautiful it's hard to choose even a few favorites. We've been so happy to have her capture big moments in our lives and look forward to her capturing more!

We have had the pleasure of working with Emily over the past 6+ years. From photographing our son as a baby, to a toddler, and now a big brother and both of our boys together she has given us the best memories over the years! She has such a natural gift with babies and little ones, but more than that she helps new moms feel at ease, and even keeps the dads laughing (if you know, you know!) throughout. Now that our kids have outgrown the baby phase, we look forward to coming back to her studio for The Santa Experience every year! It is 10/10, just like every other experience we have had with Emily over the years!

We had the absolute best experience during our maternity and newborn photoshoots with Emily! She is not only amazingly talented, but also such a sweet person and an absolute joy to work with! We felt so comfortable and at ease at each session and also had a bunch of fun. I especially appreciated the wardrobe she has available for the sessions because it was one less thing to think about as a new mama. She truly thinks of everything and is a baby whisperer as well! The photos perfectly capture this new season of life for us and we will cherish them for years to come!
