My tax preparer never contacted me to finish my filing. Another preparer, Kathleen Flores, stepped in to finish my federal filing after the deadline. However, she set an appointment to finish my state filing, and never showed up. Now, my state filing is late, my documents were never returned, and I don't have access to my records.

Avoid seeing Rebecca. She is very slow on processing your returns and makes careless mistakes. She claims that she is very experienced yet she fails at doing your taxes correctly. She told us that my toddler was distracting her, so we took my child to our car.She took over 2 hours yet still made careless mistakes. She is incompetent at doing her job!

2021 - Super easy and great advisor just a little pricey for my needs.2022 - Unresponsive agent when an issue came up. Half a dozen voicemails, spoke with reps who did not return calls. Eventually had to threaten small claims court just to get a call back.For a simple return just go with TurboTax otherwise find a different office. They do not stand by their guarantees and will not help you if there is an issue after tax season.

Be aware: H & R Block does NOT have your back, period. Not only will you get wrong advice - if you take them to court they will, under oath, lie to the contrary. After all the hassle to find the correct person/s to contact (should have been a red flag right there) and going through the steps to have your case heard, you will find the only recompense/justice you will have is through arbitration (which you SIGNED off on when you went into their office - unbeknownst to you). If someone lies under oath, what benefit will there be to take the issue (costing you $2400) any further. JoAnn S.
