“If you're looking for a fine dining experience then this is not the place for you, but if you're looking for good food, you'll find it here. This was our first time here and the staff was helpful with food recommendations. We really enjoyed the spicy chicken, veggie combo, and the lamb tips were excellent! I would definitely recommend the food.”
“Really Great store I give it a 10/10, great prices and you have a variable of foods available. Staff is really friendly and ready to help out. Really recommend this place.”
“Excellent place with great service, my go to place for everything Balkan. Includes plenty of Bulgarian foods, the place to go for them. I could call it "the local Bulgarian store", not just former Yogoslavia is represented. Great diversity of good foods”

6218 N Kings Hwy, Alexandria“It has the best prices and quality. Being small, you find what you need and leave without waiting too long. All boxes are self-checkup. Every week there are new products at a very good price. There should be more supply of zero sodas.”
“Good prices, they were putting out new stuff which is nice to see. Did self checkout as I only had a dozen things and the lady overseeing self checkout helped me look up a hot bar item (buffalo wings - very good).”
“Really love this Aldi and frequent it. Such good prices- we can get a full cart for about $100. Good produce with usually some good organic options. Never too crazy busy.
Definitely have to go on different days to catch some good stuff/sales.”

4580 Duke St, Alexandria“ALDI is....ALDI. Produce and bread and dairy cost way less. But you can't always find everything you need. Frozen section, cheese, all very good. Still prefer Lidl. But Aldi does have things other stores don't.”
“I’m so grateful I found this store! The staff here is super friendly and works hard to keep the shelves stocked up, I even got help to my car when I needed it! Great variety of imported Moroccan goods I’ve found everything I was looking for and more.”
“Everyone is friendly here from the front of the house to the butcher. Great selection from kimem to traditional houseware items. Injera that is made in-house and is the best! Light and fresh always! I use to always get Ethiopian injera until I discovered Alem gebeya injera. It’s always an easy 1-stop shop for all habesha needs, the best in the area!”

The standout feature is undoubtedly their affordability without compromising on product quality. Aldi's commitment to providing budget-friendly options while maintaining high standards is truly commendable. The store's layout is efficient, creating a streamlined shopping experience. The smaller selection of products compared to larger supermarkets actually makes the decision-making process easier. I appreciate the focus on essentials and the inclusion of unique, often organic, items that cater to various dietary preferences.Aldi's commitment to sustainability is evident, with an emphasis on reducing packaging and offering reusable bags. The checkout process is swift, thanks to their no-frills approach. The staff is generally friendly and efficient, contributing to the overall positive shopping atmosphere. In conclusion, Aldi has consistently delivered on its promise of providing quality products at affordable prices. The shopping experience is straightforward, and the store's dedication to sustainability adds to its appeal. Aldi remains a top choice for those seeking a cost-effective yet quality grocery shopping experience.”
“It had what I was looking for and then some. I had been searching for oyster mushrooms and as soon as I walked in and looked to my right there they were waiting for me to purchase.”
“Great Place to shop. You will find most of west African foodstuffs.
The real problem is like with all African store the high price. On average, African stores tend to be more expensive than their counterpart: Hispanic, Asian and American groceries.
This is really awkward, if we know that Africans make less than all than all these ethnicities.”
“Everyone is always friendly and will point direction to make your shopping experience quick and easy. They also questions when I'm shopping alone. And I'm constantly asked where is my mom and is ok. That's truly great customer service.”

6129 Backlick Rd, Springfield“Looks a bit run down, but clean, well-stocked, and great prices. Meat prices are better than Lidl, as are frozen foods. No self-checkout, so the lines sometimes get long, but the cashiers are fast and they are good about opening other lines. I only go to Giant for pharmacy and things Aldi's doesn't carry.”

425 E Monroe Ave, Alexandria“I'm so happy to live near an Aldi. After a few years of not being near one and having to shop at Harris Teeter, Giant, or Safeway, I'm grateful not to have to pay an arm and a leg for basic grocery items. Their brand is good. They carry some name brands but not a ton, which is okay. I'm there to save money. You get three times the amount of food for your money. Aldi is nothing fancy, and they don't have everything you need all the time, but they have the necessities and more. I'm definitely making fewer trips to the more expensive grocery stores.”
“It was the first time I met this Latin supermarket and I was able to find the Peru section ?? with many varied products such as cookies, ? condiments and seasonings. I went during the Christmas season and found Gloria, Todinno and Donofrio panettone, I also found pre-cooked Yucas in the freezer ready to fry, the place is large and varied, everything was quiet to buy, there were enough spaces to be able to walk the aisles comfortably.”
“This is an amazing place to get your meat! The meat is always clean and fresh! The staff is also very nice and super kind! I would definitely recommend this store for any meat, masala and Pakistani products! 10/10”

“The owner of the store never is consistent with there store hours of operation. They open and close there Mart whenever they see fit and they don't care about inconviencing there customers whatsoever!!!”

3131 Duke St, Alexandria“I have rated it before, and I'm not being biased because I have owned a grocery store in my past, but well stocked friendly and helpful Associates although as with most places nowadays, there are not a lot of Associates sometimes you have to look for them. Ample checkouts self checkouts work well. Stocked items are suitable and carry a good selection. Another location convenient for me, pricing as with most is higher than aldi's, but again the selection is a lot better.”
“A great community market with food a many places in the world, focused around Ethiopia. When I came in I was greeted and given suggestions based on my likes. They took the time to cook up my food, put on traditional spices, and make sure the experience was amazing! Great attitudes, amazing people, a strong pulse of the community!”
“If you are Hispanic/Caribbean or from NYC or Florida or LA and looking for your childhood ingredients or your hometown ingredients to cook your traditional plates? Then this supermarket is the one for you hands down.”
“It's so overwhelming that it reminds me of a Wegmans. This commissary does not carry all variety of items I can get at other commissaries. I was
shocked because its so big I thought they would have everything every other one would have.”
