Wow, I'll give this place a 5 stars. It took only 3 minutes to fill my prescription. My complain is finding the place it was a challenge, due to some gates are closed.

Why do they have a person standing there to run the check-in kiosk for you??? More people standing around to check you in than they actually have filling prescriptions and they don't even know the difference between serving uniformed service members first versus service members in uniform (many Active duty capital region members don'twear a uniform to work) . Then they issue a ridiculous number of letter prefixes to your number so you have no clue where you are in the queue. Worst DoD pharmacy operation that I have seen in 34 years of service

Three windows open and only one dispensing refills. Very inefficient operation when refills are already loaded in bins. There is no supervision and no sense of urgency.

I went to the pharmacy for a prescription. Two people in the back totally ignored me even when I said "Excuse me - I have a question". I am new to TriCare and had no idea that a new prescription could not be filled at this pharmacy. How is one to know? I was given an information sheet and half of what is on that sheet is outdated or incorrect.

One of the bigger PXs I have been in in a while. Clean and a wide selection or items and brands. Seemingly has something for everyone.

I mistakenly added this review to the exchange side which is nice!! The pharmacy doesn’t rate a nice. Called in 3 prescriptions a week ago and 2 were available. Can’t tell me if 3rd item will be available today, tomorrow or next week even though it came in but hasn’t been logged. Why drive 10 miles so I’ll just wait. I thought NAS Patuxent River was bad.Shopping, lunch and 2 tickets later still waiting on pharmacist to verify prescription. They now rate as the worst encounter worldwide, to include deployments.

Greatly improved service since it became a refill only pharmacy. Much faster service than going to the hospital pharmacy.

Warning: this is a Refills Only pharmacy. If you have a new prescription you must pick it up at the hospital. Otherwise, wait is reasonable, usually less than 20 minutes--much better than most bases we've been to.

25 years ago I gave this pharmacy 1-2 stars. Rader Clinic's was much smoother. Over the years, automation and procedural changes have sometimes been tough to deal with. But today 4-stars is a fair score; customer service is excellent, especially compared to other DoD pharmacies. Wait times vary, but smart shoppers know to come at opening first 30 minutes or late afternoon. Staff pharmacists have always given me good response and advice over the phone and at the pharmacy when needed. And I haven't found a better price anywhere on earth. This is my most valued retirement benefit next to the pay.

A great place to shop. Nice people. It is not a Mall but it is a safe place to look around and compare prices.

Been there several times over the past few years. The service is sufficient. Nothing over arching that deserves a tirade.

Customer service is a joke everywhere anymore, but here is a great example of the ineptitude of our country and covid!! So I go to check out and you have to show your ID card to the checker!! So I am social distancing from her and the person at the credit card reader paying. So I start putting my things on the belt and the checker looks over so I hold up my ID card!! She laughs at me and belittles me saying,"I can't even see it you are so far away!!" To which I move closer and said here, holding it up so it is closed!! She then dismissed me and said some smart a** remark!! AND THESE PEOPLE WANT $15 an hour? Hahahahahah

I've been using the pharmacy every since I retired in 1991 and I have no complaints. Sure, there might be a wait for service but when I compared the wait to the $$$$ saved I don't mind at all!! The U.S. Army has been good to me and I'm proud of the 30 years I served!James E. MosesMSG U.S. ArmyRetired

Great Service at Ft. Belvoir exchange pharmacy. At any pharmacy, there is a waiting period, sometimes 15 mins and other times longer. I prefer the PX pharmacy because you could shop or browse the exchange shops while you wait and there is a longer wait at Ft. Belvoir hospital pharmacy.
