Unbelievable and worth every penny! From the first phone consultation to the last piece of furniture placed these people were honest and amazing! Vicki explained in detail, communicated well and was very responsive to questions, emails, and calls. The staff knew exactly how many hours and workers were needed to load and unload the trucks. Dylan, Dante, Robby, and Dylan were prompt, courteous, and very respectful of us, each other, and our belongings. They worked well together and hustled the entire time. I chose to do the packing of the boxes and found that if I did exactly as I was told, our furniture (which they wrapped carefully before loading) and boxed belongings arrived safely. If you plan where you want your furniture ahead of time, they will even place the furniture and boxes exactly where you want it. We highly recommend Shenandoah Valley Contract Movers!

Initially I asked for both packing and moving services and was quoted prices for each service. However, my daughter insisted that she would pack for me so I cancelled the packing service. This company then raised the price for moving my household goods by more than $400. Also, they did not unroll my area rugs after delivery and they completely, totally blocked my main closet with wardrobe boxes. I can neither get my clothes out of the boxes to hang up my clothes nor can I move these boxes. Very inconvenient. However, they were speedy, polite, punctual and apparently careful with my things. Nothing is broken.

We moved from out of state and needed to find a company that would unload our 26’ UHaul. A friend recommended this company. They arrived on time. Got right to work unloading and placing our belongings where they needed to go. They were careful with our belongings and of our home. All 4 of the guys were such hard workers. They were efficient. Very fair pricing. We highly recommend Shenandoah Valley Movers.

Had the pleasure of using this company for the first time today! They were on time, professional & courteous from booking the job, to arriving on time all the way in Fairfax. They wore masks & hairnets in accordance with my deceased fathers apartment building too. Brought my furniture back to Lake Frederick safely at a very good price! Highly recommend & will use them again.

This was my fourth move with SVM. If I could give them 6 stars I would. The front office support is responsive. The crew are all hard working, polite and accommodating. They showed up when promised, did a complete walk through of the move and got down to making the time spent efficient. Our move was complicated with switching stuff out. They went above and beyond when I needed to change where rugs should be laid. Again, great crew, great price, great back office support. Six stars.

The best indication of an awesome moving company - is when the crew acts like they're moving into their own home! This family-owned and operated business is exceptional. They were friendly, patient, and studious. They took the time to ask exactly where the furniture should be placed. They covered my wood floors, watched the walls, and handled my furniture with kit gloves. If there were six stars - I'd give it. BRAVO!
