Got a system that I’m currently paying for and the controller went bad. So I called the store & Talked to the manager.John he was really nice & he told me to come out and get a replacement so I drive all the way down to the store and John had left and Chelsea has an attitude saying they don’t replace controllers that I needed to go buy a brand new one when the system is covered under full warranty Plus the benefits plus I been paying for. Just getting sick and tired of her attitude towards customers Especially when it’s covered under the warranty & the Benefits plus And I was told before hand by John to drive down to get a new one & that it was going be replaced. Been a customer here for years and to be treated & talked to like that Is unprofessional & uncalled for.

This is my review for rent a center in front royal va. My wife and I had a Xbox one got about 4 months ago and just returned it today in martinsburg wv. Chelsea was extremely disrespectful to me on the phone. We fell on hard times about 3 weeks ago ago and had to get the car registered and legal after moving from va to wv, had to get it inspected and both back tires were dry rotted which I had no idea. So spent almost 200 to get them replaced, then the alternator went bad a few days later so was almost 600 bucks to get the car done and we’re on fixed income social security and had to get extensions on all our bills. So this month we just got paid and we had to pay double on majority of our bills for getting the extensions during last months check and we couldn’t pay last month rent was only 134 and we told Chelsea look we can’t pay, but I can return the equipment and I was sorry about it. She got smart with me and said I had to pay at least 106, and I told her I would try to do it. I went to martinsburg rent a center because she told me I could return it there I got a letter signed by Logan who works there of me returning everything including the controller and he said it would be sent back to them tomorrow. Then a guy about 15 minutes ago calls me from this rac location and said I had to pay the 106 then I heard Chelsea in the background and he said sorry never mind she didn’t inform me everything you’re good and hung up. Then Chelsea proceeded to call me a few minutes later and said so you’re telling me you’re not trying to pay the one month we past rent mind you after my wife was a on time customer for a good 4 months or so. And only needed one extension, and I told her we couldn’t and I had returned the Xbox one. She said so that means you’re not gonna pay the one month we was behind? I said we can’t we have a daughter to take care of she said ok then and then hung up on me before I could say another word. I tried calling back and they will not answer, extremely disrespectful and very rude plus unprofessional. Will take any actions necessary if needed.

Very unprofessional staff, I leased a recliner & drill set started two days before Christmas. Chelsie the manager knew they were a Christmas gift to my husband. I paid all the way til my life completely flipped in may. I had a family emergency, and was not able to contact the store for a few weeks. When I contacted her back I was 4 weeks past due at the point. I explained the situation and the only resolution she offered was I paid my items off which was $700 plus or I would be taken to court. I explained again my situation and I had no money. She said I could return the items. I returned the recliner, but I had no access to the tools at that time. Weeks went by and she contacted me again through text saying I needed to pay tools or return them. At the this point I had the tools but lost them. They were stolen off my truck, and I know they probably are told many stories that are lies. She said I had to pay them now. I explained twice I had no job, no money, and I was counting change to buy food. Her last message was she is taking further action against me. They are unwilling to work with me, I have told her multiple times I would pay soon as I was back on my feet and had money. They will not work with me at all. I can’t do anything with I have no job or money. I am applying for jobs. It’s very unprofessional of Chelsie to text me all of this and not work with me at all. Due to the circumstances of my family emergency as well. This business is a fraud and are set up to take more then what the equipment is worth. Take you money somewhere else.
