My car broke down right in front of this shop earlier today, two men stopped everything they were doing and got it parked safely as I was clearly confused. It was a really genuine and quick response, and that type of character is awesome to have at a business! Thanks again

I had a minor mishap on the Petersmill Run and Matthew’s Auto got my 4Runner fixed quickly. I expected the worst but thankfully all it needed was an alignment. They were quick and honest about getting the job done. Highly recommend!

Matthews Auto Center, Duck Street, Front Royal. I have been going to them for at least (?) 20 years, maybe? I trust them implicitly! I have never felt like they've tried to push any repair on me that I didn't need & that they've been reasonable & tried to save me money if they could. Being female, they've always been able to explain things so I can understand what's wrong with my car & what they need to do & why they need to do it. I even called them frantically from a road trip once, when a bunch of lights came on. They explained what they meant & assured me I could continue on my trip & bring the vehicle in when I got home.
And I've never heard anybody else say anything bad about them either. I've been to other places, due to dealers & manufacturers & warranties & such, & always felt like people were trying to pull one over on me, but never at Matthews. Give them a try! ?

They looked at my car, keeping throwing codes. They looked at and cleared the codes and kept it for a few days, and found nothing wrong. I think Matthew's is good at what they do. I trust them, and they have good people and do great work. I would recommend them for any automotive work. They are very friendly and very knowledgeable. They are a great shop.

Best service center experience! My mom was driving me from Annapolis MD to Shenandoah county and had engine issues. We pulled in and they instantly checked and fixed the issue free of charge and were so friendly and kind and got us back on the road in less than 10 minutes. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I was visiting family in town. During my 5 hour drive, I experienced a noise in my car. I wanted to get it checked before my drive back in 2 days time. They managed to squeeze me in during the holidays. I am so grateful they found the issue, and fixed it, preventing a catastrophic failure. I made it back to work my shift at the Hospital the next day. Thank you to the entire team for going above and beyond with excellent customer service!!

I've been going to Matthews for about a year or two now and they're always reliable, kind, and genuine people. I use them for almost all of the work on my beloved Toyota; and they are, in my opinion, the best mechanics (and one of the best and most trustworthy businesses) in Front Royal. I definitely recommend them 110%!
