Closed at 5 on Saturday when ALL of the information about them online says they're open until 6. At least put a sign in the door explaining why you're closed. Unprofessional and bad business. Once I get my item back, I'll know better than to return.

We brought a family heirloom pocket watch to Jean to be serviced. It was a gift given by my great grandmother to my Great-uncle Bob in the year 1911. Jean had it repaired and running like new for a great price. If you need a clock or watch repaired, we highly recommend Jean's Jewelers.

I have progressive arthritis of my fingers and my engagement ring which is a family heirloom no longer fit me. I didn’t want to make any changes to it because I was concerned that it might change the look of the ring. I also knew that the arthritis would continue to get worse and I didn't want to keep making changes. We decided to speak to Jean. We have known Jean since we moved to the area years ago and we have always been impressed with her skills as a jeweler as well as her straight forward manner. She was the only one I felt we could trust with our great grandmother’s ring. Jean recommended an adjustable shank that could be modified as needed. It took many months for me to finally make the decision. Jean was always there, patiently ready to answer all my questions. She made the adjustments to my ring and the results are beautiful. The overall look and feel of the ring have not changed and the craftsmanship is flawless. We are grateful to Jean and her professional staff for their help.We highly recommend Jean’s jewelers for all of your jewelry needs

A first time customer . An absolute wonderful experience from the moment I walked in. Felt like I had been there a hundred times. The two ladies that were working Ginny and Samantha were all smiles and laughter. Best customer service I have experienced in years. Would definitely make the 50 mile round trip from Luray if I needed a Jeweler . My visit was for an Engraving. Ginny did a beautiful job. The cost was reasonable and fair.

The blonde lady at the front desk with a bob haircut was extremely passive aggressive to me a, a young black male simply looking to fix my watch that was a FAMILY heirloom from my deceased grandfather. She looked down on me and it was obvious through her tones and the way she addressed me. She proceeded to refer to the vintage rolex as “Fake” in front of multiple customers. I’ve never been disrespected like this before, and anyone there can attest to you that I went about my trip quietly not causing trouble. Don’t go here if you’re a young person of color because they will treat you terribly.

This jewelry shop is friendly clean and courteous! I spoke with Jean herself! She was there to help me when I was in a pinch! I needed a watch battery in my Wittnauer watch for a wedding! 2 hour before closing she was kind enough to take the time to do it personally for me and squeeze me in I would recommend this place to anyone! Went to Jean’s to get my engagement ring appraised and to add 6 prongs. I could not have asked for a better experience! Jean knows her stuff and made me feel safe with leaving my ring with her. I HIGHLY recommend this place.
