“The hotel was under some renovation, but it was still very clean. Checkin was simple and friendly staff. My room was very clean. The only reason I gave 4 stars verses 5 was the bed. It was like sleeping on a 2x4. My nights sleep was terrible due to the super hard mattress. And for the price of the rooms, the mattress should be comfortable. I’ve had better beds from a cheaper hotel.”

“For the price it can't be beat. $50/night, dog friendly (and they only charge $10/dog), a great bargain for enjoying Shenandoah Park. Clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed and pillows. Conveniently located to the park and restaurants. They have several nice little grassy areas for dogs. Bring your earplugs if road traffic keeps you up.”

“I can't say enough of this place. The twins are awesome. The house is beautiful and decorated exquisitely and also for Halloween. Friendly bar to meet and greet everyone, and the rooms are great! And breakfast, oh my! Fresh eggs from their own chickens and vegetables from their garden. We really felt special. We will definitely be back.”
