Dr Brown is the ONLY vet I will trust with my pets. Dr Grim was also very very good. They are the BEST, I have relied on them for decades. Dr Brown has taken me through some very difficult times, I can rely on her for expert diagnosis, as well as the regular wellness check ups and vaccines. I tell her every time I see her, not to retire, she will be irreplaceable. Dr Grim was kind of my hero, I love them both and heartily recommend these vets to my friends. They have given correct diagnosis when other vets fail miserably. I love these doctors and the staff at Warren County vet! I won't go anywhere else!

GRIMM & GREED Raymond Grimm of the Warren County (Virginia) Veterinarian Clinic did cruciate surgery on my 8-year-old cocker spaniel, Buddy. When it was clear Buddy was not getting better, I took him back to Grimm. Grimm was happy to take money from me for four office visits. At every appointment he said the problem was arthritis, not the surgery. He said Buddy needed to do much more walking and more often. After more than two months of this nonsense, I took Buddy to a different veterinarian. The second veterinarian said substandard (cheap) material had been used in surgery to make the cruciate repair. The material used by Grimm had broken less than 48 hours after surgery. It was as though the simple surgery had never been done. The worst thing Buddy could do was walk. Not only was it painful, it could lead to more damage and the time would come when Buddy would have been left permanently lame. The second doctor did the surgery with high-quality material and at a better price. Buddy was back enjoying life within 72 hours. Furious, I wrote to Grimm to say his greed (saving money at the expense of pets under his "care") led to a pain-inducing and damaging (arthritis/more and more walking) result. I told Grimm that I wanted my money back. He refused, saying if I had taken Buddy back to the clinic, he would have done the surgery again -- for free. First, I had taken Buddy back to Grimm - four times. I was told it was arthritis. Second, I don't care if Grimm were to do the surgery for free. Grimm wanted me to put an innocent dog that I love through another surgery and recovery because Grimm wanted to save a few bucks? Appalling. What if a medical doctor pulled the same kind of stunt with a human patient? It's not so much incompetence as it is greed and not giving a damn. It should have been done right the first time. The second surgery may be "free" for me, but it would not be free for Buddy. I would not want to put him through that again, but I had no choice. At least I did not have to use Grimm. Grimm sought to "punish" me by saying I should find another veterinarian. Hey, Grimm, I'm WAY ahead of you there! I wouldn't trust Grimm with my dog under any circumstances. I would worry that Grimm would take this criticism out on Buddy. It's telling to note that for at least five years, the Humane Society of Warren County excluded Grimm from its list of recommended veterinarians. The reason was this kind of shoddy work. Money over quality and pet health. A callous greed was shown over knowing what he had done led to more harm to my pet. I can't imagine what Buddy would have been forced to endure had I allowed Grimm to continue his "care." Some will say taking a chance on Grimm turned out well. They will say he took care of their pet. It is not about the times he was successful as this should be the expectation. It is about the times he is an utter failure, which could easily be repeated. To me, pet "care" under Grimm is like playing Russian roulette. Expensive Russian roulette. Grimm should be ashamed of himself, take responsibility, and retire. He should be replaced by somebody who has a demonstrated an interest in pet health at a fair price.

I've used this Vet Clinic about 5 times in the past 6 years. Outstanding care for our 11-year-old Siamese cat. Wouldn't use any other.

Amy Wright was my Daisy's vet from the time we got her at 6 weeks old until she passed at 11 1/2yrs. I loved the staff they were friendly and caring. Josh and Caitie were always pleasant and helpful whenever I called or went in to pick up anything for Daisy or bring her in. Even after I moved out of the area I tried to continue to use them for Daisy primary vet the last three years of her life.

Took our 3 year old Great Dane yesterday to be neutered. The vets and techs said he was very healthy and there should be no problems. Picked him up yesterday afternoon...still a bit groggy, but seemed ok. Woke up this morning and he had passed away. Please stay away...You've been warned.

This is the best animal hospital that Ive been to. Dr Thomas is the best. My dog Qtip took to her and she was so loving and kind and my dog did not have any anxiety issues being this was his first visit and he needed a mass removed. The staff is kind and responsive as well . I love this place also the prices are affordable compared to my regular vet back home in Fairfax. I'm giving this place a A plus . They really know how to treat your fur babies.

IF I COULD LEAVE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD. They should be reported for animal abuse. Had a friend go in with her cat who was very obviously in excruciating pain but since it's Friday and they care more about partying than saving an animals life they denied her request for an xray and blood work, because they were "about to close" and said it was "unnecessary." Not only that but her appointment was at 2 and didn't get seen until 430. You should be ashamed of yourselves honestly. It's sickening. Their job is to help figure out what the problem is, not just take one look at the animal and say "idk what's wrong but I'm not going to do an xray or blood work to try to figure it out. Here's some pain pills, BYE." Absolutely pathetic. I've heard so many other horror stories about them like this. They do not care about your pets well being. They care about themselves and nothing else. Selfish as ever. DO NOT take your beloved fur babies here, I REPEAT DO NOT DO IT!

We've been using WCVC since 1983, first with our collies and horses before I got married, now with our dogs in my own family. Everyone is great there, it's very clean, and they give good honest opinions. Care is very thorough, and they're willing to investigate the occasional odd issue with my labs. Dr. Vandrey was my horse vet through another practice, and about 13 years ago saved the life of one of my mares who was a piggy, and greedily inhaled her oats, causing her to choke. Thank God he wasn't too far away when I made the call...he had to tube her several times but saved her life. You get what you pay for, and a good vet is worth every penny when your babies are in distress. When they're closed and we have an emergency, we go to the emergency vet clinic across from Costco, a couple of bldgs from Golden corral. But you'll be very happy with this practice, they really care and are very thorough.

My dog was neutered here and immediately after developed a mass. I had scheduled another surgery to get it removed but they gave me an appointment with a month and half wait. As time went on the mass grew and began to get desperate for my dog to be seen. They offered me anotjother appointment a week sooner but at their other location. When the time finally came the vet said the mass was to big for him to comfortable operate on and left me little option3 within budget and far exceeding my orgi orginial quote even the high end. I would suggest that if that you if you need surgery and they give you a ridiculous wait time to seek other options, or run the risk of being turned down come your appointment time. I guess they are just to busy. Please look for other options i wish i had!

I have been bringing my cat here for over a year. We came from a vet in Luray who seemed great because of the price but we soon found out cheap is too good to be true. This vet has taken great care of our Louis. They are very kind, polite and courteous. I had a major issue with my cat summer 2020. The vet took good care of him. My bill was not as expensive as I imagined. I'll recommend this vet clinic to anyone. You get what you put for which is 1st class service.

I absolutely love this clinic! The doctors and staff are fantastic and really put you at ease. My baby (cat) had to have a lump removed from her head and it was scary. Dr. Brown was so kind and professional and really took the time to explain everything to me. My cat is healing beautifully and I'm very grateful for this clinic.

Brought my service animal in for a rabies shot. We got in and out relatively quickly. Overall we had a decent experience but I've been told it's pricey. I'd go back if I needed to.

Great place to take your pets! They are Law Enforcement friendly and very professional. The place was very, very clean. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. The Vet we saw was very attentive and he ran down a list of things for us to be on the lookout for. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

I brought my dog here for a shot and the staff was very patient and friendly with my dog since he does not like getting shots. Beautiful and clean facility. Keep up the great work.
