TWICE I have tried my best to communicate with this place and cannot . I have a chain of about 5 texts where I asked a simple question . The simplest of all questions to ask . Was a particular car on their website still available . I even clicked where it said check availability . Then the phone calls started though all I asked for was a text or email . You would not believe the number of communications that followed hedging the answer . After threatening that it was my last time talking to him he FiNALLY said it would probably be there end of Oct ! Said he didn't understand what I wanted to know !!!So yesterday I found another car and sent the message to see if the car was there . Guess what ? Same guy contacts me . He will get back with me soon . It's now next day almost 2. Nothing . Terrible place .

This was the best car buying experience I've ever experienced. We were helped by Justin Gill, he was extremely patient, kind, and knowledgeable. He was not pushy nor trying to just make a sale. He genuinely cared to help us get into a car we loved. Cannot rave enough about this location and their awesome employees. Thank you Justin, and Mazda of Fredericksburg for this wonderful experience!

Just bought a car from them. We tried to negotiate a deal but they would hardly budge. Awful trade in offer which we said no thank you. As we were leaving they suddenly offered $600 more (still under what we wanted). We left anyway. Our friend really wanted the vehicle so he decided to take the offer. They then said the offer was $500 less then the amount they told us as we were leaving. All said they won if you know what I mean. Found out after the fact that it had been in 4 accidents (yes, our bad for not doing a carfax), only had one key when description said 2 and the cargo cover was missing. Never, ever would recommend them. They are the epitome of slimy used car sales.

I was looking at Mazda and I cannot express how happy I was with Chris. He took his time he called back when I would text or call him great salesman they seem like great people there so if you need a Mazda, I would go see Christopher at the Mazda dealer there.

Do NOT buy ANYTHING from this dealership while Carol and Adam are sales managers here. They are full of lies and deceit. The salesmen will lie about anything to get a sale and survey because they get paid for surveys. If you got a little postcard from one of the employees after purchasing with a picture of him and a kid on there, that's not his kid, that's his niece and he does it so people feel obliged to leave a review to further his career. Carol will lie and say its the best time ever to buy a car and that the rates JUST dropped when they really JUST went up. Oh, and if you leave the dealership and your salesman didn't bring you to the manager, just know your salesman got dragged in front of all the other salesman and got berated and yelled at for not bringing you to the manager before you left as a last ditch effort to lie their way into a sale that day. My fiancée worked here and the things I've learned about this dealership and the management and the way they treat their employees and vehicles, is disgusting. I would not recommend supporting this location. I have no idea about the other Saffords but the Mazda one in particular, is beyond belief in disgusting tactics, behavior, and treatment. Carol is a disgusting human being and we will not rest until we have a formal apology or see her fired for the way she's trying to manage that store and the way she treats her employees. I am a sales manager myself, i know what it takes to be a great leader and Carol and Adam are the exact opposite of that. Keep in mind they've worked at 8 dealerships in the last 2 years. Is that the kind of employee/manager you want to buy off of? A $20,000+ purchase off an employee that cant keep a sales job longer than a few months? Don't waste your time. If you're reading this Jim, reach out to my fiancée, you know who she is, please.

I took my car in for an oil change for the first time and I was kind of confused about how to get into the service area, so I was driving around confused and one of the staff came out from the service area and waived me in, when I got out of the car he called me by my first name! Lol! I laughed so hard and said how did you know my name the guy says we were expecting you! Now that's great service! I was in there less than an hour and I got a free car wash!! I highly recommend.

This review goes to Katelynn In the service department. I just moved to Virginia and I needed to get an oil change and a VA state inspection. As I pulled into the service area, she greeted me and asked what I needed done. I explained what I needed and she kindly took my keys and showed me where the restrooms and the customer waiting area is. When she returned to let me know my vehicle was complete, she explained, in detail, what was done and the outcome. I had a couple questions for her about my car and Virginia in general, and she took her time and explained each answer to me. This is customer service and I am so grateful for this type of service. THANK YOU!

I don't know if all dealerships are doing this but we just had a horrible experience at Safford Mazda. Went there yesterday to look at cars, went back today and did a test drive. Had nice saleslady both days. After almost 3 hours of waiting around to get price from manager, he comes back and says price is 2,400.00 ABOVE THE STICKER DUE TO MARKET ADJUSTMENT. What??? No where was that posted on the cars/sticker, nor was it posted in the dealership (even though the 899 processing fee sign is posted). He said he thought someone had told us that. Nope, been there 2 straight days and that was never conveyed. I think this is crazy, we don't get "market adjustments" for trade-ins! Feels shady to me, but hey, maybe this is the new thing but I hope not!

I made an appointment for a specific car 3 days in advance, i drove 2 hours to get there the morning of and when i got there they told me they sold it the night before! And they offered me a T-shirt for the inconvenience. Terrible communication, will never go back to this dealership.

Recently attempted to purchase a vehicle at this dealership with my girlfriend; left dazed and confused. After two visits and a test drive of a gently used SUV, we never were given a price for the vehicle. What we did receive were lengthy and redundant lectures from the sales manager on auto certification processes and questions regarding our personal relationship. Needless to say we took our business to Warrenton where we were treated with respect whereby we easily negotiated an agreeable price and drove away with a beautiful Mazda CX5 the same day of our visit.
