Front desk attendants are never friendly & seem annoyed whenever I speak to them. When they actually answer the phone they either immediately put you on hold and never answer it again or sound irritated about having to answer. I have to call several times to get someone to answer. My issues are just with the front desk everyone else especially the preschool teachers and director are great ?

Outstanding family friendly facility. If you swim, lap lanes are always open with minor exception of night swim meets. Group aquatics and lap lanes open simultaneously. Pool opens at 0530 hrs.Great new sauna and steamroom, racquetball courts, supervised stationary bike room with classes, and full spectrum exercise and weight room. Staff is very attentive and the summer camps for children are outstanding. Men’s locker room and shower are immaculate. All round outstanding facility.

I am a current customer as of 07/11/23 and I mainly use their basketball court, but I am continuously being kicked out for pickle ball or kids camp. It never fails, not once. Quite literally every single day I get kicked out at least two times. I am here for about 8 hours a day and get kicked out from 8am-12pm and about 2 times after that for children's camp. I understand the gym might be closed due to reservations or the rec league but 9 of 10 times I as well as anyone else tries to use this facility I get kicked out. A possible solution for the pickle ball schedule is to use the literal court they have designated towards pickle ball, just a thought. And the kids camp could be held outside in the massive amount of land the Ron Rosner YMCA sits on. They could also get approval from Patriot Park to host camp there as it is right next to the Y. I am very upset that I cannot train here as much as I was led to believe I’d be able to. The pickle ball games only take half of one court and I’m not allowed to use the other half which is very frustrating.

The front desk attendants rarely say hello or speak to you in general unless you are their friend. The locker room/bathroom is a complete disaster. The floor is soaking wet and slippery, none of the toilets are flushing correctly, and two sinks do not work. The gym is okay but is not clean. All of the staff in the gym except for Michelle are rude. They do not excuse themselves when walking close infront, behind, of beside you. They continually go into the small room in the corner with complete disregard for whomever is nearby. If you exercise at the bench near the door, they leave the door open and talk non-stop to others so you are unable to see yourself in the mirror and have to pause or stop your exercise so you do not hit them. I've been almost hit by the door many times because staff would just swing it open when walking in and out.

Wouldn’t answer the phone the 10 times we called, walked inside & the old lady was on her own cell phone. Extremely rude when we had questions about day pass. Don’t work customer service if you can’t speak to people with kindness and respect.

First time as a YMCA member, and it's pretty awesome. Our family membership is very fairly priced, and there's plenty of advantages that come along with it: FACILITIES: The gym is pretty decent, you've got all the basic needs in here for cardio and weightlifting, with plenty of separate rooms for classes and courts for basketball, pickle ball and other sports. The pool is a great size with plenty of classes offered and lane swim. Changing rooms could really do with a spruce up though - super basic, but gets the job done. Showers work fine, overall cleanliness of facilities is pretty good, too. CULTURE: It's very friendly in here, which is weird coming from a military gym where everyone keeps to themselves. People will invite you in to join their pickle ball games, and the instructors are very friendly and welcoming. Rita on the front desk is the queen of customer service, she will help you with all the things and is super awesome. Ample parking outside, with plenty of seating if you're waiting for your littles/family/friends to be done at the front reception area.
