Called customer service to get Comdata station code. Agent replied back with a random Comdata phone number used to check account balances. Website does not list station codes, just lists all the payment cards they take including Comdata. Comdata website has this place listed but does not have a code that is valid. Place is unstaffed.

I have had the same issue with automatic delivery. I've looked over their website and it doesn't say what happens in the event I run out of fuel, either. I woke up to a cold house 2/19 and it's 2/20 and nothing. No call back or anything. It also says I have a delivery pending on 2/06 that I never received!!!!

This is the worst gas company in the Richmond area. It's always at least a 40 minute wait just to speak with someone.

Second winter in a row that we have run out of propane and woke to a freezing house. Called and was told that we would get a delivery today and they would call with update. Called again later in the day and again was told that I would get an update. Guess what, no calls, no delivery and house is freezing. Horrible customer service. They should be embarrassed ...

The worst customer experience of my life. I pre-payed and did not receive the heating oil for two weeks even though I continued to call and send emails. I waited 4 hours on the phone to speak to someone and then was told that "something went wrong" and that someone would come out with my oil that day. No apology- nothing. The delivery man was super nice and said that it wasn't on his list until that day. Then I tried to switch to automatic payment and had to call five times to even speak to someone- the voice mailbox was full. They said they were mailing me a credit check application... because there is no option to do it online. I never received it.. I'm taking my money elsewhere.

Worst service ever! We schedule a tank fill up but they did not show. Then they said they could not make it for a couple days. Meanwhile we then ran out of oil. Even for simple orders they give you attitude. You can clearly tell they don't want to help or be there working. If I could give 0 stars I would!

If this company stays in business after I am done calling a lawyer and the news media, I will be shocked. We are having a very mild winter. First as stated in my last review with them, I was taken off the budget plan and the reason? I did not use the propane enough for two adults with a brand new heat pump. Our propane was only for supplemental heat and this year we called in early January when we were having 70 degree weather to not have our tank auto-filled (They seem ok to take us off for not enough, yet want to charge for propane we did not need nor ask for????) You good ole boys are somehting else in this hick town.

OMFG! Quarles bought out my previous Company. They came to my home on Friday and billed me $489 dollars & told me I also have to pay a $125 tank fee on top of that! These MFs are CRAZY! They are super over priced & I will no longer need their service! On the hunt for a new company! I hate my old company is no longer! I definitely would not recommend this company!

Absolutely terrible delivery service. They need to hire more drivers or buy more delivery trucks. Whatever the limiting factor in being able to deliver propane in a timely manner. Ordered propane on Nov. 23rd and it is now Dec 5th and still no propane. This has been an issue for the past year and a half for me. As a consumer, I do not care for them as a company and I would not recommend.

Dec. 2017: I ordered fuel oil on Monday morning at 8:00 AM with a promise that it would be delivered within 2 to 3 business days. It's now mid-day Thursday and I'm being told the delivery won't be made today. Quarles won't guarantee delivery for tomorrow either (the Friday before Christmas). I use to be very high on this company but this one experience has soured my outlook. Update of 4/6/2018: The initial review was 3 stars but it's happened again. I ran out of fuel this morning (the 5th business day) and yet Quarles can't even promise me that a delivery will be made next Monday. I have cancelled the order and have ordered from a company that will be by later this morning.
