I bought 10 reconditioned Husqvarna string trimmers from Northern Tool. It is obvious no reconditioning was done, All these trimmers look used and are not working right out of the box. They just took non-working returns and put them in a box and shipped them out. Although I'm within my 60-day return period they are refusing to honor it. Northern Tool Is not a company that stands behind their product.

I'm changing this review to 5 stars. I'd previously given them "not a very great" review because of shipping costs. Well my item arrived in a very big box on a pallet and it Clearly justified the shipping cost. I like the "poly dump cart for riding lawn mower" that was in the big box, and I like northern tool stores in general, think they're pretty neat. Sorry Northern tool for being mean........

Don't purchase Northern Tool batteries. First, their packaging is awful. Second, the batteries do not last very long at all, or they don't work at all.

Can not use pay pal or gift cards to make purchases for store pick up. But you can use pay pal or gift cards for free home or next day delivery. Good business choices, good business decisions

First and last time buying from here. Would not allow return of new/unused battery blower still sealed in box a few days after purchase, with receipt. Nowhere in their return policy posted on their website does it state that it could not be returned so I called their 800 customer service number and a rep told me that it absolutely COULD be returned. She suggested I call and speak to on duty manager. I called and spoke to the on duty manager and he said that it CAN'T be returned because of a contract with Stihl, but I could bring it back and buy a bigger item and just pay the difference. Soooo, essentially they will take it back if I spend more money.

Another disastrous example of customer service destroying a company. My order was promised for today the 27th. An email indicated my air compressor was delivered yesterday. Confused ? yeah me too as they attempted to now schedule me for a monday delivery....what??? Its hard to lose my business... congrats Sears went the same way... There's a 20 year relationship burnt! Quite sad

Instead, the product will be fulfilled from an alternate distribution center. This will delay the delivery of the product(s) to your local Northern Tool + Equipment retail store. The new estimated delivery date is 15-20 business days. We will send an email communication once the order is available for pick up.Then I send them 2 emails to ask they give the explanation, but no result !!Be aware, they just cheat you to buy cheap, then delay it 15 - 20 days !!!
