Visiting from Georgia, went in afraid, had never had a facial before, i expressed concerns to front desk agent annabel and she was very patient explaining the process and what to expect, gave me water while i waited, she made me feel much better about the visit! Had the facial with Camy, loved her attention to detail. 10/10

You MUST continue monthly payments to their membership program or they will erase your accumulated credit.After being members for some time, my wife and I have had repeated and continuous issues getting anything scheduled more than once every three months. After numerous phone calls and in person visits to try and resolve this issue over the course months, I was finally able to speak with an interim manager, who informed me that their policy is that any cancelation of membership will delete all credit on your account within 60 days. On top of that, due to all of their scheduling problems, you are now only allowed to schedule one appointment a month. Which means I either keep making monthly payments so I don't lose my credit, which I can't use faster than I can pay, or I stop paying and lose everything.Massages were great when I could get them, but it's a shame the owners resort to shady schemes to line their pockets.

So tired of this place....my husband canceled his membership a while ago with ME. He told me they kept canceling his appointments. I had a few appointments canceled in the past but today was the last straw. Whenever I actually get on the calendar for an appointment something happens...I just received a call canceling my appointment. It must be nice to be a business and keep charging customers for services they cannot even schedule. So disappointing....

Absolute, HORRIBLE location to go to!!! I pre-paid for a scheduled appointment for my wife for her birthday in July. The first available appointment was 3 1/2 weeks later for August 5. I wake up this morning to my wife telling me they had to reschedule her appointment due to a masseuse calling out. but their next available appointment was another three weeks away. When I had called in I spoke with Teresa and Holly who both specified their management is on paid leave and cannot resolve this issue. That the next available appointment for my wife would be three weeks out on August 29 At this point, with no resolution being made they gave me a number to a corporate franchise answering machine. I called back inquiring on a refund. When I was told I was harassing them I just had to wait. This was now my 2nd phone call on inquiring about the situation I had prepaid for. As a paid customer being told to wait and that I’m harassing the service providers that aren’t providing any services they didn’t sit well with me. But I’m sure if I called in trying to pay for another service. Their attitudes would’ve been a little bit different. With no solution in the future, I decided to go up to the store where I was then greeted with such anger and aggression from one of the representatives there, Holly. Stay away from her if you want to get good customer service. When I arrived at the building and threatened a bad review. All of a sudden they were able to reach a member of management team( Caitlin) who was able to provide me a refund for my purchase, since I was unhappy. But this could’ve all been avoided had the employees had a guideline to follow and tried to keep their customers happy or been a bit better at communicating instead of telling their customers they can’t do anything when they can. Being an owner of a small business local to Fredericksburg this is not how you should treat your customers who grow your company and your business. This was absolute horrible business practices. They will be reported, so no other customers have to go through what my family and I went through. Also as a cherry on top my wife’s appointment was at 3:30 PM and after speaking with Teresa and Holly they stated they were closing at 3pm today. Sounds to me like they were just trying to add their customers expense.

Absolutely HORRIBLE! Waited 3 weeks for a schedule appointment for them to call and reschedule that morning. They couldn’t reschedule for ANOTHER 3 WEEKS!! My husband got upset since this was a birthday present for me so he called to ask about a refund. Come to find out they close today at 3pm when I WAS SCHEDULED FOR A 3:30 appt! What?!? Not to mention all management is on “leave.” By the time my husband drove to the location they were now on the phone with a manager and provided the refund in cash when he paid via card. Holly, Caitlin, and Teresa were the most unhelpful employee I have ever came across.

I had a massage here months ago and let me tell you…the two young, African American, ladies who work at reception are the true hidden gems of this location. The short one with curly hair was so helpful and sweet over the phone with me and the other one, Nia, was so informative and knowledgeable about the services. Hands down, the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time!

The staff is very welcoming and polite as soon as you walk in the door. The atmosphere is very zen and relaxed, as it should be for a spa. Coree did an amazing job with my facial and took care to be gentle with my sensitive skin. She recommended just what I needed for my maintenance between facials and didn’t oversell me on stuff I didn’t need. Great experience and excellent location!

What you would expect from a chain massage place. Relaxing but not productive. The lady that did my massage and the desk staff were both friendly.. but they are way overpriced and they intentionally lock their website booking calendar so they don’t have to allow people to book at the online price. They Jack the prices way up when you call. There are small businesses that offer better pricing AND massages that actually relieve tension and stress. This place just does expensive rubdowns.

Shannon is amazing! She does excellent Facials and Chemical Peels! She is patient, knowledgeable, loving, and very pleasant! Her customer service is excellent! My experience was awesome! I definitely recommend Shannon for any of your skincare needs!

The services are generally very good. Have been pleased with most of the therapists. The problem is that it is nearly impossible to make an appointment, especially if you work and need something on the weekend. I've not been able to book a massage for many months. If you are a member, you will continue to pay your monthly fee month after month, but will be hard-pressed to get an appointment. If you cancel your membership you forfeit all of your prepaid appointments, which is really just wrong. You can freeze your membership for a period of time but will still be billed $10/month. I understand staffing is a challenge everywhere, but Massage Envy should consider adjusting their business practices so people have the opportunity to use up the credits they've been accumulating for months without continuing to be charged for services they may never get to use.
