This is my favorite African market in Fredericksburg. I can get all the ingredients I need to cook for my husband. Grounded Egusi is sold here. They also have a meat market in the back of the store and any meat can be butchered the way I want it to be.

I strongly advise every customer to look at their food stuffs before consuming it or cook it especially their broken rice, there’s a lot of tiny bugs inside, you don’t want to bring bugs to your house and start infecting your home plus the guy at the store was telling me that the building is old they’re not able to treat everything in there, they have the same issues at the other store in woodbridge I brought it to their attention; please people be careful out there these people don’t care, is all about money.

Do not go to this store. They do not appreciate customer. Owner is very rude and don’t care about his client. The place is very dirty and stinky . Dry fish in the back is not cover. Is left open and flies are all over it. Disgusting. Yuckkkk. I don’t even know how he is still open . Never would I come here again.If you need African American food go to community market right next to Texas Roadhouse she is nice and clean.

Bad customer Service when u walk in there is no greeting or anything & when u ask for ur meat to be cut small they will cut it big..they don’t even ask if u need help..when u ask about something they will tell u oh we have it but will not come to help u found it…

This place takes of old dead meat; The owner try to get my number very flirtatious and I felt very uncomfortable! Not professional and have the nerve to smell of rotten meat.. yuck
