Circumstances required us to arrange tax preparation and filing for an elderly family member in Virginia entirely online from more than 800 miles away. Sharon Thacker and the H&R team got everything done with efficiency and care above and beyond all expectations. The "MyBlock" portal was so easy to navigate and supported communications throughout the process. Beautiful results, on time, and with an exceptional personal touch. Well done! Highly recommended!

Terrible customer service. I was told my taxes would be filed in a couple days it took almost a month. During this time I setup a phone appointment to talk to someone about why it was taking so long and when I can expect then to be filed I never received my phone call and a week later I received an email saying that my signature was needed to complete my filing. After this I was called everyday sometimes multiple times a day for me to come and sign and pay the fee. I find it ridiculous that I was ignored when I needed help and setup an appointment but when my payment was wanted there was someone to continuously call me. I also asked to use direct deposit but instead I have to wait weeks for checks to be mailed so I was ignored there as well.

Tried to make an appointment to file my taxes at this office, but male associate I spoke to was very rude. He sounded annoyed when he needed to repeat the times he was available to file. Then he responded condescendingly when I said I was only bringing in my W2 forms. He made it seem like I should be bringing in more documents and I was dumb for not knowing. Imagine having to sit an hour with this guy talking down to you. No thanks. I’ll schedule an appointment somewhere else.

I was pretty shocked when my "tax pro" didn't know how to file my Coinbase paperwork. I'm still very confused how that was a "tax pro". I did not use H&R Block after this, no thanks.
