Liked it back when this HD just opened. Had that small town hardware store level of customer service. While the associates I’ve spoken to have been nice and wanting to help, I’ve found they haven’t got the training for customer service and often aren’t knowledgeable in answering specific questions related to how the products they sell are used. I was told that it’s a generational characteristic. I’ve met the manager and she seems enthusiastic, perhaps if corporate gave her more $ to provide staff training she’d have resources for improving staff selection and subsequent training. I’m not going back to Lowe’s so I’ll just be sure to shop during the less crowded times of the week.

Found the flower pot I needed. Unfortunately they didn't have any trays of geraniums but that just gives me a reason to go to a plant nursery!

Zero stars. My 75YO mom purchased a refrigerator from this Home Depot which was delivered broken. They offered to repair her NEW fridge. I told her to have them deliver a new one. So after several weeks, a “new” one arrives. The Home Depot delivery people destroyed my Mom’s front door, screen door and entry way while bringing it into the house (after she specifically told them how to avoid doing so, which they ignored). To make matters worse, the “new” fridge was once again broken, and the door to the fridge wouldn’t close. He said he didn’t know how to adjust it. The delivery guy went back outside, pulled the door off the first one, and tried to put it on this one. Meanwhile, my mom is crying and upset about the $1K+ worth of damage to her home (and still a broken “new” refrigerator). As they leave, the guy says “well, too bad, it happens.” My mom was challenged to try and file a claim electronically, so my sister had to spend hours trying to upload pictures of the damage to her home. The claim has not yet been settled, so she still has a broken NEW fridge and a broken front door and entryway. Personally, I will never buy another appliance from Home Depot because of the way my mom was treated, the way her home was treated, and the subpar quality of the appliance itself.

I know this place is big but I just wish they had more customer service people walking the aisles to assist. I was searching for a floor cleaner that can fight pet urine and they had the cleaners spread out too much..

ZERO STARS!!!! I would absolutely not recommend buying any appliances from this Home Depot store (1201 Gateway Blvd, Fredericksburg VA) . Our home builder purchased a new refrigerator (Frigidaire) and in less than 4 months the unit stopped working. Spoke to the manager and he insisted that their policy is that if you have it home more than 48 hours , and that Home Depot has zero responsibility for the product they sold to you. The Manager had zero care and all but laughed when asked what he would do without a fridge for a month. Manufacturer has also not assisted and have gone through technicians, missed appointments and still no one to take responsibility for a new unit purchased at this store. Highly recommend other stores who still believe in standing by the products they sell and that they should provide a quality product.

Got to register young girl rung me up. Gave her my phone# and she said your military veteran status has expired??? I said how im not dead yet. Lowes doesn't do this i said. She said yes they do dont want to argie with you. Paid went to another associate who said my phone number was never put in? Ok i put it in ...again and got my discount and gave me 25 for Hassel. She was nice girl before a little brat. So 4
