My husband and I got a pass to go because we are staying at a hotel close by. Husband was impressed with the friendly staff and expressed wanting to join the gym when we return home.

The equipment is good. Plenty of variety. Friendly staff. Great environment to grow. We joined as a family and they have treated us right. Go see Jeremiah; he was great to work with, and he will treat you fairly. .

Pay an exorbitant amount of money for them to close before any other gym nearby…not a bad gym but, not being 24hrs for the price you have to pay monthly is insane. And now there’s going to be a convince fee for paying your required monthly member….man what!?!?

It's kind of a shame that being one of the biggest Gold's Gyms on the east coast that their equipment is so old. Making a killing on memberships you would think they would buy quality equipment to compare to gyms like DMV iron or RVA Iron in the area. If you're not just squatting leg day will be terrible; pit shark is useless, leg machines terrible... Back and shoulder days terrible... Prepare to get a 2nd membership and drive an hour to get quality posterior days in... Maybe if everyone speaks up they'll listen and get some quality new equipment... Because staff are wonderful and it's a very clean facility otherwise.

The worst explanation of services and financial responsibility ever. I cancelled the service and my wife/I have not attended in over a month, but still billed for service and child care we never used! I signed up for month/month but mysteriously billed monthly for longer contract.
No one in the facility handles financials. It’s all out sourced and not helpful at all.
Go somewhere else.
Find yourself another gym.
Also, even if you cancel you will still be billed for 30 days even if you don’t use it

Trying to cancel with Golds Gym in as NIGHTMARE. After a second attempt to get confirmation of cancellation the employee offered to spell ‘Cancellation’. Pretty horrible experience. ‘Lisa’ the regional manager for GG is supposed to get my complaint but I can’t trust the people I speak to in the office or on the phone. So here is the review.

I really like and appreciate this gym. The gym is so big that even at peak hours it doesn’t feel as congested as most other gyms feel. There’s never a wait for equipment because there’s a huge selection and variety. I also like how the gym is divided into sections. Some of the equipment is a little old but that’s not a huge issue for me. Highly recommend!!

Gym is nice but there are better gyms with better payment options. I got locked into a two year commitment and moved during the commitment. I unexpectedly moved just 2 miles outside of their "cancelation range" and started a new job in the other direction (Bluefield VA). It didn't make sence for me to go out of my way anymore and they wouldn't work with me. When I finally reached the end of my commitment they required an extra month of payment with my 22 day notice not being enough. Very very difficult to cancel. I probably would get a new membership when I move back in town but now this has caused me to have a bitter taste in my mouth about golds in Fredericksburg.

Visited this location recently. It's a good gym with multiple exercise areas, but it can be a bit complicated to navigate due to the numerous workout spaces. The pool is small. Overall, a decent experience.

Great gym, a lot of equipment, clean sauna. Best of all: no loud annoying music like the ballston golds in Arlington.
