Very clean restrooms and store. Friendly cashier, very helpful. Prices are competitive and plenty of items. Great discounts and the reward card is easy to use and free.

I have shopped at the Giant grocery store on Plank Road for the last 14 years. It’s very convenient as I basically live two minutes away. Because of some personal circumstances the past month and a half I have been ordering my groceries online and picking them up. This actually could be a little better. I ordered Romain lettuce three in a package and the majority of that was rotten. I also ordered for Roma tomatoes, and those were mushy. My question is why would the employee pick any of that knowing that it was no good. This past Tuesday I had ordered two bags of laundry detergent. I just realized this morning (. 2 days later) I never got it. I deleted my online list and tossed the list in the bag so , I cannot go into the store and show them. I know the detergent was on my list because I went through the one online before I ordered the items.. My fault is, after I put the groceries away, I should’ve checked the paper list to make sure I got everything.

While I have used Giant frequently over the past 9 years...I now am going to other stores for the majority of my shopping. This particular location typically has a decent selection and helpful staff...but it has been losing ground.Recently they joined the the trend of shutting down one of their two entrances. Not sure the reason but it is a huge hassle especially when the store is busy.They also have stopped carrying some of the typical brands or options. Perfect example. We used to get our coffee from Giant. We used Gevalia espresso roast but Giant no longer carries it. They carry Gevalia, just espress roast is not available.Same with Maxwell House International House flavored coffee. Used to have a decent selection of their flavors but now I have to shop elsewhere to get themThe list goes on and on. Let's just say that while I still go there once or twice a month to get specific items...the rest of my shopping is being done elsewhere.#BirdLife #OwlsTweet @MeetMrOwl
